Reading the reviews here are exactly what prompted me to write this. He consistently has the worst staff members who seem to pull the wool over his eyes and cover up
What they are doing that brings inadequate care and possible ham to the patient. The review about the staff below in 2013 is exactly the same as today 2019. Last week I called and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. Got on another line and called and the same girl answered while I was still on hold on the other line. This happens all the time. Same girl failed to give back a copy of a test order and never faxed in. Called to make appointment for seriously ill family member and told he couldn’t be seen for a week and half. 103 fever. Can you imagine that. Office manager fails to return four calls made to her. At appointment last week nurse puking her eyes whiledoing intake. The staff either either has buffaloed dr for years or he accepts what they do. Have to go elsewhere.

The ONLY reason this is even getting one star is that Doctor Khan himself is awesome and caring. With that said, this office staff is completely incompetent. When calling for any reason you will typically get a recording - consider yourself lucky if the call is returned. Getting prescription refills is a complete hassle and oftentimes wrong. The office staff repeatedly gives an appointment time handwritten or verbal, and when you show up for your appointment they will tell you it was a different time even when the handwritten shows otherwise - to cover themselves they lie and put a note in your chart stating you called and changed it. Please, if you are considering this office...run...run away.

Dr. Khan is an example of what is wrong with the medical profession today. Like so many other medical professionals he has an inflated ego and his greed is transparent. He could care less about the quality of care he is providing. It is apparent that he is all about quantity of patients seen. He should not be allowed to care for those with chronic and serious life threatening conditions because it is as though he is in over his head. His lack of attention and compassion both for the patient and their families is mind boggling. He does not answer questions, he offers no information as to the course of treatment or what his role will be in the recovery of the patient, and he does not return phone calls. The only thing worse than Dr. Khan himself is the staff that he surrounds himself with. His office staff are on a whole new level of rude. They will place you on hold for 20 minutes or more and will not give messages to the Dr. regardless of how urgent the situation is.

Staff at the reception desk is rude and unhelpful.When you call before you can get a word out they put you on hold for 20 or more minutes! Dr. Khan does not give you more than 2 minutes and just listens to your heart asks you a couple questions then leaves the room and sends a nurse or the PA in to finish. The nurses do not even know how to wrap a bandage!! I have never seen a chart in anyone's hands nor do they have a computerized chart system in the exam rooms to record anything or check your records.The new building and large waiting room is nice, but you feel like just a number as they take walk ins and don't give the time to the patients who really need careful monitoring and help badly.

This office has really gone down hill ! After constructing his new building and hiring another Physician and P.A. , this Dr is NEVER available anymore ! This is his own Private Practice running on cruise-control and moonlighting at Heart of Florida every other week , again never available ! I use to get in the same day (if I called early enough) or at least by the next day , not anymore, the nurses try to push you on the other Incompetent physician or the PA , if you hold out for him it may be two weeks before he can see you ! His front area staff receptionist' is constantly turning over and if you want to talk to an officer manager , well, there isn't one so never mind. Very disappointed that Dr Khan has chosen greed over the welfare of his Patients !!! Looking for a new PCP now !
