Terrific doctor. I wish he was my GP to be honest. He's thorough, knowledgable, personable, and has his head screwed on straight. I've been seeing him for chronic pain related to a car accident for about five years. His secretary is a piece of work, so be prepared.

I had only one appointment with Dr. Flaschner and was most appreciative and impressed by him and his professionalism. I found him to be very pleasant and extremely helpful with all his recommendations. His receptionist was very difficult to deal with, not just once, but every time I attempted to reconnect with the office. This individual reaches a whole new low when it comes to her lack of professional acumen and disrespect for other human beings. I do not know how she has managed to keep her job and would have loved to express my feelings to the good doctor. There is no place for her type of offensive behaviour in any workplace., especially in a medical rehab environment where the patients are in a great deal of pain and in need of help.

Dr. Flaschner is a phenomenal Specialist. I am so lucky I was referred to him. He did everything possible to help me with my severe chronic pain & my herniated discs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking guidance or pain relief. He was very patience, articulate & really listened when I hesitated to want to try different off-label modalities & said his peace & honoured my request (lets face it- Dr.'s rarely do that these days). If you are lucky enough to get through the couple hundred patients wait list, make sure you go. It'll be worth it. Just make sure you see him at least once a year or you'll slip to the bottom of the list like I did, you will need a new referral & will have to wait a very long time to see him again.

Dr. David Flaschner is a very dishonest docter. He only cares about money. He has hurt me a great deal and does not care. He has made many errors and does not care at all about the truth. Only cares about lining his pocket. Stay away from this docter. He doesn't care.

Dr. Flaschner is not a honest docter. He seems to only care about money. He showed no caring toward me and made many inaccuracies and errors. I would recommend you stay away from this docter as he really hurt me as a person and as a patient. He only cares about money. He is a very bad docter and of zero help and zero support. He does not care about the truth at all.

I have been seeing Dr. Flaschner on and off for about 7 years now. The ON portion of seeing him has been excellent. He is a fantastic Doctor, and has helped with my pain management greatly. He takes his time, explains things and gives direction for his diagnosis.
The OFF portion of trying to see him is bought about by his extremely unprofessional "gatekeeper" receptionist/intake coordinator. Even though I have seen him before, I am forced to get a new referral to see him. OK, I get it, so I do that. Now, apparently I fall to the bottom of some never ending wait list due to my lack of intelligence in needing another referral, and due to her control of the phone and front desk.
She doesn't manage previous patients effectively. I understand waiting. I was told probably 4-5 months to get in. OK. now 4-5 months have passed and she now says she has no idea when it could happen.....unprofessional and for someone like me who has constant chronic pain, it's just plain painful.

Great doctor, on time, polite, did everything he could to help me narrow down the problem and leave with multiple possibilities to fix problem. I am an athlete and am looking for beyond optimal function and he still took the time to help me. Highly recommend.

Dr. Flaschner is thorough, considerate, and has the best interest of his patients in mind during his consultations. I have been seeing him on and off for 4 years now, and each time he treats me with respect, knowing that constant chronic pain is a tough diagnosis to justify publicly, and that living with it is no easy thing.
Yes, his Receptionist is curt and very short with people, but the focus here is not the Receptionist as she does not treat the patients. Anyone who would take the time to rate his Helpfulness or Knowledge anything but a 5 star should look elsewhere for solutions to their problems.
