Hello, I saw Dr K on Mon Nov 20/23 in his office
He was kind, caring and took the time to explain.
I believe he is very knowledgeable and an expert in his field. Stacey works in the office she is awesome too, calm, kind and returns phone calls promptly:)

I would not go to this doctor if he was the last doctor on earth. My mother went to see him with obvious and very serious symptoms. He wasn’t interested in hearing her concerns and would not even examine her. Days later she was hospitalized. Even the paramedic could see the seriousness of the situation. He just doesn’t care.

I find Dr Kumaranayake and Shelly to be the best. Always pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.

Don't really understand the few rather negative reviews on this website - although there are also many positive ones. For my part, I agree withe the latter.

I met with Dr. K. a month or so back, and today again, when having a gastroscopy and colonoscopy performed .

I found him to be excellent in every respect, and if the need arises, hope I may be able to avail myself of his services again in the future.

I have nothing but the highest regards for Dr. K. He has provided me with guidance and professionalism for many years. I cannot imagine going elsewhere as he came so highly recommended, and now I know why. I had previously seen three other GI's, in two well-known clinics. Dr. K. was and is my best! I have experienced multiple Colonoscopies over the years with no concerns over his abilities, organization or follow-up. Some of which is due to, Shelly his highly efficient Associate whom has been with him for more than twenty years. I have NO intention of ever seeking any other Professional for my needs in this area. Thank you Dr. Kumaranayake.

Lots of respect for Doctor. My needed urgent test and procedure. His staff contacted me as soon as possible and my son had his procedure at JBH. Excellent Dr. My son has anxiety and he worked on him so well and calmed him down. Follow up was done professional. His office worked around my schedule and my son schedule . Shelly his admin is just awesome. Always returns calls and is so helpful. Thanks a lot

Was recommended to see Dr. Kumaranayake and met with him for a procedure at Joseph Brant Hospital. He was very professional and explained everything in detail as to what he was going to. He was very attentive to my concerns and answered all of my questions. He took the time to calm me down before my procedure. After the procedure he was very informative with what he found and what he will do with follow up. His Secretary is the best I have every dealt with in the medication field and I would rate her at a very high standing. Cannot thank him enough for helping me.

Always professional and polite, receptionist excellent also. He has really helped me over the last 3 yrs i have been seeing him. Thankful for his excellent car - would highly recommend him.
