Dr. Ladd performed a colonoscopy. Two days later I got severe bloating and tightness in my abdomen. My skin became numb and tingly. I called the office number, no answer. Left a voicemail. I think I left about four voicemails without response. I went to the office and the assistant there who had the door locked open and let me in. I told you what the problem was and she said she would get in contact with Dr. Ladd. There was nobody else in the office and yet the phone's going answered. The voicemail that they have says they answer the phones between 8:30 and 4:30. That is a lie they don't answer the phones. I began leaving messages at the end of February '24. At the end of that voicemail message they stated " "Please note the office will be closed on Monday, January 1st" ! Unbelievable! ! Eventually after 3 weeks of severe discomfort I got an appointment to see her. She said she didn't have any idea what was causing it. She sent me for an ultrasound. I had the ultrasound and the technician said Dr. Lads would have the results within 48 hours. 2 weeks later. I still have not heard from Dr. Ladd. So I called the office and left a snotty vmail. The following day I received a call from the assistant who read me the results. But she had no idea what those results meant or what I should do. I would have thought after having performed a procedure on a patient, the doctor would want to follow up the next couple of days to ensure that everything's okay. Dr. Ladd did not. She did not even follow out with me after my various voicemails and my visit to the office to say that I was in extreme discomfort. She is an embarrassment to the medical profession.

I found Dr Lad to be personable and professional. She doesn’t chit-chat but that’s ok as she is my Dr and not my friend. A new issue came up and she booked a gastroscopy appointment for me very quickly. Her staff are lovely and efficient. I work in a drs office so I understand the challenges. They are handling things extremely well in my opinion.

Dr. Ladd was my father’s liver doctor for many years. He has non alcoholic fatty liver disease. When he turned 81 he started needing paracentisis at the hospital for fluid buildup in his abdomen. My dads liver is not functioning anymore. He started needing a weekly drain in 2021. When they do this at the hospital they always gave him an IV supplement of 2 bottles of albumin. Albumin is 100% produced by the liver. When the liver is shot it can’t produce this very important blood plasma which has proteins, essential vitamins and keeps the circulation running smoothly and prevents blood from leaking out of the veins and much more. This weekly draining at the hospital went on for at least a year with the albumin being supplemented every time. My dad was able to walk on his own, go to the bathroom on his own, enjoy life with his family, get out for restaurants, long drives with his son, shopping with his son and basically enjoy his life to the fullest extent that he was able to. Last week of November Dr. Ladd basically washed her hands of him. I guess he outlived her 3 month life span she was expecting. She told us she was too busy to do his drains anymore. We then had a stint put in so that we could drain him 1 liter/ day at home. Unfortunately nobody thought about the loss of the albumin which my dad desperately needs for his blood. Dr. Ladd obviously overlooked this important factor too!!! In 3 and a half short weeks of home draining we noticed major health issues with our dad. Only factor missing here is the IV Ambulin once a week!! Nobody can administer this blood plasma product without Dr. Ladd prescribing it. We have called her office over 7 times begging for her help. Dr. Ladd is in the hospital twice a week…we are doing home draining so all she needs to do is prescribe a weekly IV injection of 2 bottles of albumin which the nurses in the paracentesis department can easily administer. Begging her…palliative care doctor requesting the albumin…and she won’t even do that!!! My dad can no longer get out of bed. He has to pee etc in Depends. He has absolutely no energy. He aches all over. Sleeps constantly. Can’t eat without vomiting. He’s severely depressed and praying to die!! He’s on a painkiller now for the immense pain he’s going through 24/7. All this could be prevented if Dr. Ladd would simply give him the time of day and prescribe weekly Ambulin IV injections. It is December 10 and she has “ so graciously “ found the time to see him in the hospital on December 29. That is if he lives long enough to see that day. !! We’ve even gone to emergency department but that was a horrific 8 hour experience with no results! We’ve called other doctors but nobody can take him on while he’s still Dr. Ladd patient. She won’t sign off on him being her patient. So we are stuck in an impossible situation while we sit back and watch our dad wither away!! Merry f******Christmas Dr. Ladd!! WORST DOCTOR EVER!! No stars for her.

Waste of time..an appointment was made with her from hospital stay...learned nothing, found her a critic of all hospital staff , she questioned everything the hospital did and sent to her..in her words all was "red herring" not sure why I was sent to her..and won't be returning

Very rude way of talking or dealing with her patients. Doesn't seem to know why she has called you for a follow up. Very bad attitude.

She never helped me either that is why I stopped seeing her but my doctor scheduled a phone appointment even though I stopped seeing her.

I have seen Dr. Lad for several years.
When my hearing test indicated possible cancer, Dr Lad got me in for an MRI within a week, and I had a follow up visit with her the following week. The speed with which she acted was an enormous relief. I thought she was kind and efficient.
I’ve also seen her for stomach issues and she had me in for a gastroscopy within days, as quickly as with my ear issue.
Dr. Lad’s bedside manner has always been lovely.

Been with her since 2000, best bed side manner! Detailed in procedures, results and all around TOP "A" doctor! Super busy but gets you in, even during this Covid pandemic.
