I went in to the hospital to have my ankle checked because of and injury, I patiently waited 4 hours for my turn to be seen by Dr. Ali. He was unprepared, and didn't bother to look at my x-ray until i voiced concerns of a large pop feeling and sound that came from my ankle. He looked at the results and concluded that there was no problem, in the meanwhile, he didn't even bother to feel my foot, or look at the visible injuries. A couple of days later I received a call from him, explaining that he looked at the x-ray and requested that I come back to emerge to see him at a very specific time in the morning for him to review my results again with me. I come in again in the morning to be told that there are the emergency does not make appointments, and that no one knew anything about it. So I was made to wait 4 and a half hours to review my results which i were made to believe were more severe then what he had told me. Finally, a new doctor came to see me and told me that it was not a full fracture, because the bone was very hard to fracture, but there was still a sight line or crack.
I guess I just would like to know why Dr. Ali did not do his job the first time i was in emerge? Experiences like these make me very hesitant to trust the emerge doctors.
