Im about to get a c5c6 fusion for severe stenosis and i am so scared. After sitting with Dr Pope , he explained to me what he will be doing and i know that its not as simple as stitching up a cut on your finger.. so i asked him if its a difficult operation and he simply replied" well for me its not" and that just gave me so much confidence. So in around 2 to 3 months i will find out . Ive dealt with quite a few neurosurgeons and just found Dr Pope to be the best. Really knows how to communicate and just makes you feel like your in good hands with him. His secretary Linda is also extremely helpful and informative. I cant wait to feel better and get on with life.

I highly recommend Dr Pope - he completed a L4-S1 TLIF on me (32yo) following an injury with many years of living in pain and with an abnormal posture. The following day my posture was immediately improved and walked out of hospital the day after surgery. My family and I could not believe the immediate effects following the surgery. Most importantly Dr Pope listens and cares to your concerns and takes the time to explain things if needed. He will not recommend surgery to those that don’t need it but will refer you for the right treatment (beneficence and non maleficence) ...and if he does recommend surgery, you will not feel pressured. Highly recommended

I'm a good judge of character and can tell if someone's genuine or someone who is not. Dr Pope cares about what he does and wants the best outcome. If that's surgery then he is one of the best. He's very focused and the info he gets happens quickly but it's detailed.
If he doesn't think you need an op he will get a colleague to help you.
As it turned out I needed an op and I have done well and recovered quicker than predicted.
Highly recommended and worth every cent. Go see him with confidence.

What a kind, caring and genuine person. I feel privileged to have met this amazing man. Dr Pope guided me through the entire procedure, checking on me pre and post operation to phone calls after I returned home. The operation achieved exactly what Dr Pope explained to me. Without a doubt I would not hesitate to refer anyone requiring a Neurosurgeon for spinal issues.
Thank you to a kind hearted surgeon.

What a machine of a Dr. What a Legend. Now considered as a friend rather than a surgeon.
i had my l5s1 fusion on the 16th. i was up, walking and discharged next day! Dr and Physio were impressed and i was more impressed with the outcome as one would think omg a spine surgery im going to be ridden for god knows how long!!!
Dr pope never rushed me to have surgery and tried absolutely every other avenue, at the end of the day it was my decision!
i highly recommend DR POPE TO EVERYBODY.

One of the few Neurosurgeons available to sort out patients with issues that need operating.
Very detailed and caring. Felt real safe accepting surgery and all went well. What a great result!
Now I can recover while self isolating with the knowledge that someone was there when the chips were down. Stay safe all!
