There might be a pandemic currently but the service Dr Pope offers is top class. I got my questions answered through my video session and he even examined me using the camera so that was reassuring.
Will try a few things he reckons might help the leg pain otherwise might need surgery once lockdown finishes.
Really great service and he knows how to do his job well.

This man dr Pope is fantastic ! The whole appointment I felt like he genuinely cared and that I wasn’t just a number. He did a very thorough examination and was extremely helpful the field needs more drs like this! I came down from the hunter valley and After the examination if was found that I would need to see another specialist, he and his lovely receptionist were straight onto it and had me an appointment that following morning with a detailed and thorough report to go with, followed by an appointment with his team after that. The professionalism, kindness thoroughness and peace of mind they have given me is amazing. I cannot recommend or thank dr pope and his team enough.

I had been in pain on and off for a couple of years. The last period was excruciating and I realised I can’t life life on painkillers and I’m a very active 50 year old who doesn’t want to stop exercising. A friend recommended Dr.Pope and I wish I had listened to that friend two years prior. Dr Pope did surgery on my herniated disc L6/7 and the next day I was pain free and walked out of the hospital and haven’t looked back. The surgery for me was the best decision I made. The fact that I’m pain free is testament to the expertise of Dr. pope. I would and have recommended Dr. Pope to others without hesitation.

I had L4/L5 and L5/S1 disc bulge. For 2 years I was visiting different doctors and chiropractors no one could help me, I was struggling to sit down, walk and bend over and as rime was going my pain was getting worse and worse. Visiting Dr Pope was the best decision I have done for my back, Dr Pope helped me in less then a month walking straight again. Dr Pope recommended the surgery, even I was a bit scared he ensured me that all will be good and it was. Dr Pope carried out the surgery on the 8 of march on the 9 of march I walked out from the hospital by myself. There is no words to thank him and there is not enough stars to rate him, l recommend Dr Pope to everyone who has back pain.

I am a very fit, active 69 year old woman. Two years ago I developed a crushed disc which left me hardly walking without pain and taking medication which dulled my senses. After much consultation Dr Pope agreed on a minimally invasive discectomy. I was very pro active in my recovery - stretching, physio etc. Two years down the track I play tennis twice a week, a personal trainer twice a week, zumba and swimming with minimal discomfort. I have my life back again thanks to Dr Pope.

Dr Pope performed my discectomy (L5, S1) in late December 2020. Prior to this he has advised me on the best management of my condition for close to 3 years now. Chronic pain is debilitating not only from a physical standpoint but the significant effects it has on mental health too. As a 42 year old woman who lives a busy & full life, it was difficult to slowly lose function and expend so much energy on managing the pain everyday - the 8 weeks prior to surgery I was bedbound 90% of the day and attempting to work and 'push through' the discomfort. When it came time for surgery of course I was nervous, however every moment I was in the hands of Dr Pope and his team I was given outstanding care and today 6 weeks post surgery, I can walk and sit upright and have even been able to get back to my hobby painting again, even so soon after the operation. I cannot recommend Dr Pope and his team highly enough - literally life changing surgery and for anyone in pain, worried and considering what to do, go speak with him and get on a better path, knowing you have the highest skill surgeon by your side.

I had a C spine discectomy under Dr Pope in early September. The outcome has been amazing and my recovery excellent. From our first appointment it was clear that Dr Pope was an excellent doctor and clearly has great skills as a surgeon. I felt completely reassured that he provided an unbiased opinion giving me the knowledge to make an informed decision abut whether to have surgery. His bedside manner is excellent and he was very available throughout my hospital stay to answer any questions I had and provide feedback about the surgery. The follow up post op has been seamless providing advise about how to move through my recovery. I would thoroughly recommend Dr Pope. Thank you Lee Ingram
