I visited orthopaedic. clinic this morning at Etobicoke William Osler hospital. I did not have a long wait at all. Dr Quinn gave me a quick diagnoses for knee replacement under the assessment of that we refer all patients your age for replacement surgery and also they wouldn’t do orthoscopy on someone my age. I am 72. Also said MRI is misuse of system etc etc. I was hoping he would address the previous meniscus injury and request re MRI. My physiotherapist was concerned my knee locked due to the meniscus injury and also was hoping he would address bakers cyst and having my knee drained due to fluid on my knee and immobility due to both meniscus not being clipped and bakers cyst. He said there was no fluid. I had been icing knee and resting it for two days and perhaps fluid it was pooling across my knee and where the meniscus injury is and below my knee. His diagnosis was quick and abrupt. He left the treatment room and was not open any enquires from me. Except the one when I said about trimming the meniscus and draining the fluid. This is what my family doctor recommended that they do and my physiotherapist felt was the issue. I feel he limped
Me into a category and was not addressing the real issue. I have been told I have mild arthritis which I feel a replacement knee is a hasty decision. I am continuing my physio in a week and will get another opinion re addressing the meniscus injury and bakers cyst which may have cleared up by now.

I remembered that day, 18 June, 2018. I was at emergency ward , had so much pain and Dr. Quinn came to me and said you had lisfranc dislocation. I search about lisfranc injury. People gone through lot of pain and complications in lisfranc injury. Dr. Quinn did excellent work, after 48 hours surgery , I didn't even take any pain meds. After 10 weeks of surgery , I started walking in aircast without pain. After 17 weeks of surgery , started walking in sneakers. After 6 months of surgery, I have no complications,no pain. Can't believe that I can walk without limp despite having 7 screws and 2 plates in my midfoot. He is very polite, his staff is very supportive. Great job Dr. Quinn. You save my life.

Dr. Quinn is one of The Best Doctors I have ever seen. He is responsible and his knowledge is outstanding. He takes utmost care to treat a patient with a higher level of dignity. I was referred to Dr. Quinn by another surgeon and I am so glad that God sent me to him as a second opinion. Dr. Quinn is an excellent doctor that I have ever seen. He treats the patient with a thorough knowledge and a high level of responsibility. He knows what to do and he knows what he is doing. He looks tough but focus on treating the patient with the best of his abilities. In my case he did not take a quick decision but examined carefully and saved my toe. I respect this doctor and pray for him to live long and healthy life.

My experience with Dr Quinn was exceptional. He was so gentle, soft spoken and he explained everything that he was doing and what he was about. We talk about any possible side effects that would arise from the surgery. He was honest. I was allowed to make the decisions if I wanted the surgery or not. The surgery went very well. No side effects. I'm healing just fine.
Thank you Dr Andrew Quinn.

My experience with Dr. Quinn was absolutely amazing! I had had two botched surgeries prior to meeting him, and I was terrified I was going to lose my foot. Dr. Quinn manipulated my foot and told me exactly what he was going to do. Although I was nervous about further surgery, I felt immediately that he was extremely knowledgeable and his manner was reassuring. On the day of my surgery, I was nervous until he came and spoke to me and I went into the operating room calm and relaxed. Dr. Quinn reconstructed my foot, and I now walk without pain. I have recommended him to friends and family who also are pleased with his work. I was surprised to read negative reviews about him. These were so far from our experiences. I would have to say that his kindness, calm manner and caring attitude helped to my surgical experience a positive one.

Amazing Dr. Explained options clearly and was patient with questions in a very stressful situation. He's quiet and quite humble, and reassured us that all would be well. After reading the other negative comments, I felt the need to post my feedback because our family would recommend him without hesitation to anyone needing surgery. As with anything, there are risks but he was upfront and outlined them. We were from out of town when the injury occurred and happily took a day off each time to follow up with him. It was worth it - skilled and knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Quinn.

I just had a revision surgery done thanks to this surgeon who has left me permanently disabled, unable to work.

He bragged before operating on me that I would not have to worry about scar tissue. A major tendon is so badly encased in scar tissue that I'm in chronic pain and have to endure ketamine infusions every 2 months for the rest of my life.

He said after 2 accidents post operatively that there was nothing to worry about. Well sorry, but MRI imaging and a subsequent surgery prove otherwise.

He waited 16 months to do a surgery that if done earlier, and done right, would not have left me with permanent damage, to both tendon and toes. I have no sense of balance because he screwed up in surgery.

I think a review by the Ontario college of physicians and surgeons of Ontario should be enough to scare anyone off. A disciplinary hearing means he could lose his license.

His standard of care is lower than other surgeon's. He is cocky and arrogant.
