It’s concerning to read all of the conflicting ratings on here about Dr. Quinn. His receptionist was very nice and there was no wait time which are positives. However, I found him to be extremely arrogant and passive aggressive. I’ve asked my referring doctor for a second opinion - if his bedside manner was so bad pre-operation, I can’t imagine what dealing with him for a surgery and post-surgery would be like. I’m thankful to be living in a country where citizens can afford to shop around for the right surgeon.

The worst doctor i had to deal with, he is extremely arrogant, snobby, uncaring, choose the easiest to treat the patient: “surgery” without studying carefully the case of the patient or trying to find another solution. Because of his ignorance, my surgery FAILED with DISABILITY, with no regret, apologies or even sympathy from this doctor. Since this disaster, I can only walk very short distance and with specific very expensive medical shoes. As for his team, they are aggressive, careless with unexplained cruelty.
I would rate him ZERO as a doctor and ZERO as a person. My advice to anyone, go to another knowledgeable doctor with human being feeling and understanding, don’t risk your life and health with such………..

my surgery FAILED with DISABILITY that could never be reversed or adjusted. This doctor had no regret, no apologies and not even sympathy !!! . Since this disaster and because of his ignorance, I have to wear very specific and very expensive medical shoes to be able to walk very short distance. As for his team,

Please, if you have been booked for a operation with Dr. Quinn seek a second opinion. Or pick another surgeon all together. Left me in worse shape then when arrived for surgery. Arrogant and unsympathetic.

I visited orthopaedic. clinic this morning at Etobicoke William Osler hospital. I did not have a long wait at all. Dr Quinn gave me a quick diagnoses for knee replacement under the assessment of that we refer all patients your age for replacement surgery and also they wouldn’t do orthoscopy on someone my age. I am 72. Also said MRI is misuse of system etc etc. I was hoping he would address the previous meniscus injury and request re MRI. My physiotherapist was concerned my knee locked due to the meniscus injury and also was hoping he would address bakers cyst and having my knee drained due to fluid on my knee and immobility due to both meniscus not being clipped and bakers cyst. He said there was no fluid. I had been icing knee and resting it for two days and perhaps fluid it was pooling across my knee and where the meniscus injury is and below my knee. His diagnosis was quick and abrupt. He left the treatment room and was not open any enquires from me. Except the one when I said about trimming the meniscus and draining the fluid. This is what my family doctor recommended that they do and my physiotherapist felt was the issue. I feel he limped
Me into a category and was not addressing the real issue. I have been told I have mild arthritis which I feel a replacement knee is a hasty decision. I am continuing my physio in a week and will get another opinion re addressing the meniscus injury and bakers cyst which may have cleared up by now.
