Would just like to remind people of the strong bias towards writing negative reviews. What you see with any review of a doctor is a very unrepresentative sample of how their patients actually feel about them. What you do see is patients with a strong drive to go out of their way to write a negative review. People don’t generally bother to write a good review- we are hard wired to remember our negative feelings. And I urge people to question any review that says something as vague as “run away from this doctor”. If there were truly a case of harm done, it goes to an investigation by the regulatory college whose job is to protect the public. But it’s easy to slander a professional anonymously on the internet when there are no consequences and no further effort put forth for actually filling a formal complaint.

I am really lucky he was one of my surgeons and I am so grateful to him and the surgical team. He is intelligent, extremely skilled, an expert in his field. He takes the time to explain things really well so I was aware of all the risks, potential complications and different options. You can tell he really cares about his patients and is amazing at his profession. I also found him really kind, his bedside manner was exceptional in ever consultation, before and after surgery. He was also really kind to my family. Dr Oreopoulos and Dr Roche-Negale made my life and my health better and I am just so grateful. I really
only have amazing things to say. He is an exceptionally skilled and intelligent surgeon who also happens to be a really wonderful person. It’s always a bonus when you get both. Thank you so much Dr. Oreopoulos.

Rude, condescending, would not recommend to anyone. Very egotistical and not interested in a patient's symptoms unless you are on deaths door. Went to him for thoracic outlet syndrome - if you think you have TOS run from this clinic. Just smirks at you and makes you feel that it is your own fault. What a nightmare our healthcare has become in Ontario.

Oreopoulos has to be one of the most uneducated doctors I have ever come across. His ego barely fit through the door. My mom has a major disability, one which he actually made a nasty comment about... We explained her disability several times. He was under the impression that my mother was yelling at him and he proceeded to call security... Her disability: Deaf so she can't hear her own voice. He has no idea what he is talking about. We were referred to him for vascular reason. If you ask him to explain something he huffs and puffs. He speaks to you very condescending and puts you down if you don't hold a degree.... If you are reading this George... Cause it's actually sad that the DR is in front of your name choose another profession.... You defiantly lied when you took your Oath... If you are seeing him RUN RUN RUN if you can.

Recently my husband was sick with carotid stenosis,and was unresponsive at home. took him to emergency services to TGH. Since then Dr.oreopoulos has save his life by excellent care, decision making,talking to desperate family members ,and his kindness gave lots of strength. he is an amazing surgeon.
