This arrogant “man” disregarded the findings of other doctors within his own hospital (SickKids), disregarded the information my wife & I provided him after 3.5 MONTHS and 2 other hospitals closer to home, our own family practitioner AND a local Pediatric specialist, only to send us away empty handed after driving 3hrs in freezing rain to help our not quite 3yr old. All we were after was a follow-up and refill of a prescription that had FINALLY worked after all that time, and this condescending pr!@k did exactly what we told him HADN’T worked and sent us away despite our urging and proof to the alternative. This man needs to re-examine his oath as a care provider. F him and the high horse he rode in on!!!

This doctor misdiagnosed my son, dismissed his Kawasaki Disease because he “had a good disposition and his hands aren’t peeling”. This dinosaur should be put out for retirement, he is clearly out of touch. Thankfully another hospital saved my sons life.

Dr Scolnik is the most amazing Pediatric Emergency Physician we have ever met. Most knowledgeable, caring and patient doctor. We wish him all the very best in emergency care of children.

I hope I never have to go to the hospital with my child, and deal with that doctor ever again! The minute a parent is asking quite pertinent questions, he turns into this arrogant, condescending a-hole! Well, Dr. Scolnick, guess what...it is our right to ask questions whether you like it or not, and do not make ever again the mistake of talking down to a scared and terrified parent because you will be reported to the CPSO, that much I can guarantee! Not everyone is like you think, without medical knowledge or borderline illiterate!

our son was admitted to sick kids emerg dept and was seen by dr. scolnik for a seizure disorder. not only was he patient and kind with an excellent bedside manner, he was thorough. he addressed all our questions and provided supplementary insight, and we didn't feel rushed in any way. both our son (under 3) and both of us felt at ease with and confident in his methods. thank you, dr. scolnik.

He is very knowledgable and thorough. He answered all our questions, asked and unasked, and helped us gain an understanding of our son's condition. Our son came in with a respiratory infection and was previously misdiagnosed by a previous doctor. Based on my son's signs and symptoms and our subjective data he gathered a mucous culture for testing and gave appropriate recommendations. Overall we had a good first experience with Dr. Scolnik
