Dr. Albrecht takes time and actually listens. Very knowledgeable but does not hesitate to refer to a specialist if needed. He also follows up on test results - one of a kind.

Myself and my wife ,kids and mother law are seeing Dr Albrecht for about 4 yrs and I can say he is the best Doctor we have ever had.His staff and nurse are exceptional and reception is outstanding were very lucky to have them all.

After my GP retired, I was stuck trying to find one who came even remotely close to his skill level, ability to be personable yet professional and was terrified it would never happen. Then as luck would have it, Dr. Albrecht started his practice here in Guelph, and the rest is history. I am so happy to have been able to find such a terrific doctor to replace an amazing one. He listens to your concerns as well as your symptoms. He's very knowledgeable and when he doesn't feel comfortable with his diagnosis, he doesn't hesitate to say "I've never seen that before " and send you off to someone who has. I respect that immensely. I respect him immensely. He is in my opinion, the best thing to have happened to me medically since my old doctor retired. I will follow him should he leave Guelph. (if you're reading this,Dr. Albrecht DON"T LEAVE GUELPH EVER)
In fact, I like him so much I debated about giving him a crappy rating so nobody else would go see him because I'm selfish and want him for me and my family forever only. But I can't do that to someone so awesome.

I have always had a bit of "white coat syndrome," but Dr. Albrecht totally helped me overcome my anxiety about medical care. He is so knowledgeable, and very patient about explaining options and giving you all the information you want. He really listens to you, and treats you based on the whole picture of your health, not just as a collection of individual, disconnected conditions. His nurse practitioners are wonderful and very caring, and the whole team is very well organized. It's also very convenient having the lab and most test facilities right in the building, and they always get back to you very quickly with results. We feel very lucky to be his patients!

He is smart, knowledgeable, very personable and dedicated. He takes the time you need. We never feel rushed. We have every confidence in him. We are lucky to have such a good doctor.

Our family in Guelph/Waterloo are under the care of this very caring doctor since he joined the DRFMC in 2009. My sister was his second patient and consequently we changed doctors upon her high recommendation. If the allotted appointment is not to the exact time, it is certainly worth the few minutes extra wait. This is an indication of his dedication to all his patients. You are certainly never rushed. To sum up this review, I have never experienced a doctor so caring, with a great personality and ability to see the humor in everyday life's casualties!

Our family has slowly moved over to Dr Albrecht practice. First my sister told my Mom that she had an excellent dr, then we moved my Dad over as his dr was incompetent and missed various issues with his health. Finally I moved over as I saw the exceptional care that my parents received, the attention, the hopefulness, the intelligence and the convenience of the practice (X-rays and blood work in the same building). Dr Albrecht is very special.
