When I decided to get implants, I reached out to a friend who is in medical field and had implants done years ago. They look great, so I wanted her doctor. After meeting Dr. Engler, I liked him instantly. I was very comfortable with him and he was clearly extremely experienced. It was a bit more to plan since I live in Boston, but I wanted the best doctor for such an involved proceedure with visually lasting effects, and I felt that doctor was Dr. Engler. Due to upcoming events, I wanted the surgery soon as possible which they accomodated. He & his staff called several times in advance to discuss details. When the surgery week arrived, there were new challenges that came up, complicated by the fact that I was in Boston. Dr Engler & his staff had me come in a little later on my surgery day and they stayed after hours to accomodate me. I really can't recommend Dr Engler enough due to his experience, professionalism, and flexibility in working with someone coming in from out of town.

Dr. Engler immediately put my major fears about getting breast implants to rest. In my initial consultation he addressed all my questions with a combination of obvious expertise in the field, anecdotes, and humor: the definition of "good bedside manner." He was understanding of the aesthetic I was aiming for, and assured me that the size I wanted (a full B cup) was going to look and feel natural on my frame. The results could not have been better. We decided on 250cc implants, and I was really nervous about the results being obvious to my friends and family, but no one has said anything. I've only told a few people post-op and they've all been shocked. This is exactly the result I wanted: a subtle transition from being on the small side of an A cup and having to wear padded bras just so my clothes will fit to a comfortable, full B cup. Dr. Engler is truly a master and I could not be more thrilled with my new breasts!

I went to Dr. Engler to for two scar revision surgeries. I had some very thick scars that were raised and red , a result of past traumatic injuries. Here’s what I loved about the place: (i) the environment there- every person in his office is just so extremely friendly, welcoming and most importantly, caring. You really get a sense of their concern and respect for you as a patient. No arrogance or attitude that I’ve encountered at some other places. They take their time to engage you and answer your questions. (ii) I felt very safe and reassured with Dr. Engler. This is a combination of how genuine and honest he is, how he talks and interacts with you, and his concern for what you as the patient wants. He possesses one of the best bedside manners I have ever countered period. (iii) RESULTS. I am sooo happy with how my surgeries turned out- my scars are flat and there is a significant reduction in size and redness. I no longer feel the need to cover up my scars.

I am in the medical field, and have worked with hundreds of doctors. When I went to see Dr. Engler It was my first time doing anything like this and I wasn't sure what to expect. He and I met for a consultation to discuss my treatment options. Dr. Engler was able to ease my anxiety by explaining the process and spending time to answer all of my questions. After my successful procedure, Dr. Engler made me feel I could call or come in with any worries or questions. Dr. Engler certainly stands out because of his ability to make the patient feel comfortable. I will go back to him (without a doubt) when I need something in the future!

I first met Dr. Engler when I was 19 years old, right after giving birth to my first child. That being said I decided to have a breast augmentation. After seeing Dr. Engler on the Ricki Lake show I knew I had to meet him. I was not disappointed at all. This man is awesome! Besides his one of a kind bedside manner, he was extremely professional, listened to my concerns and  together we came up with a plan to address them. Ten years and three kids later, my body has changed and so have my concerns. Based on my initial surgical experience I would have returned to him anyway but after referring multiple women to him over the years, we all agree that his work is phenomenal. So back to Dr. Engler I went. He remembered me immediately. You can't put a price on a Doctor like that.    Elective cosmetic surgery can be a scary thing to decide to do but not with Dr. E! Most importantly, the results are - once again, and ten years later - amazing and I couldn't be happier!

Dr Engler is fantastic--I couldn't give higher praise! I came to his office for a breast augmentation, but my situation is a little unusual. I am 28 & have had Type 1 diabetes most of my life. I'm in good shape, but the disease can make surgery, anesthesia & healing much riskier. From the start, Dr Engler made me feel 100% comfortable about all my concerns. Many surgeons might not take on my care but he was COMPLETELY supportive. He took the time to go over all the risks & precautions w/ me--from what to eat & when to test my sugar, to how to make sure my incisions healed properly. He spoke w/ my doctor in advance, arranged all the tests I needed & had his anesthesiologist speak w/ me, in particular for my sugar levels & insulin. He checked in w/ me frequently post-op & always treated me like a human, not like a numbered patient. Also worth noting: my breasts look great! I've healed surprisingly well, surprisingly quickly, with little pain or discomfort, thanks to Dr Engler's care.

I had 40dd breasts 19 yrs ago. Which, after having a child and breast feeding were just wet socks with an oranges hanging out at the bottom (not a good look). After one consult with Dr. E I was convinced he would be the one who transforms me and that he did. He gave me back my confidence, and there are no words to express my gratitude. Today I needed a little help, so again I call on Dr. Engler as soon as he walks in for my consult he remembers me, what Dr remembers a pt from so long ago except for mine. He helps me with a second procedure lipo, and through it all he was still a constant proffesional and caring individual. My results are amazing to say the least and it’s only been 2 weeks. I commend Dr. Engler for the dedication he shows to his craft he is a perfectionist and as a pt I appreciate this. If you’re in the market for a plastic surgeon that can make you feel comfortable, safe, and most of all beautiful then Dr. Engler possesses all of these qualities, He is the Man!

A few weeks ago I had liposuction on my outer thighs, love handles and inner things and I am thrilled with the results. Although I was running 25 miles a week pre surgery and eating fairly healthy I was unable to lose the stubborn pockets of fat I stored in these areas-blame it on genetics. Despite swelling, soreness and discomfort I was back in the office working 3 days later. I didn’t feel 100% but I had no problem getting through the day. Dr. Engler attacked my love handles through a tiny incision in the crease towards the top of my behind and took the extra fat from my tights by entering right in the tuck where my butt and thighs meet. The love handle incision I can’t even see myself and the later two are literally only visible if you were to stand behind me and I was to bend over. I’m only a few weeks through a recovery process that will take several months but so far I am very pleased with the results I’ve achieved already.

On March 2002, Dr. Engler changed my life forever! Ten years later, my breast still look great and this has been proven during my yearly GYN annual visits, when my doctor compliments on how good my breast look. He would say, "I know I ask you the same question every year, but who did your breast?" I would smile and say Dr. Engler from the city. Six years ago I moved from Lower Westchester, NY to Orange County, NY. This time I wanted to have a tummy tuck and went through my fears of the unknown. In the past year I have searched different doctors in the area, but found myself thinking of Dr. Engler and the masterpiece he created with my breast. Despite the distance, I decided once again to entrust my body to Dr. Engler. The new staff were also friendly, caring and supportive. It has been one week since my tummy tuck procedure and I can see my hour glass figure. Yes, I am going to be sporting my bikini bathing suit this summer, thanks to Dr. Engler!

My stomach was protruding and I had back fat.I developed a large hernia which caused my protruding belly. I was introduced to Dr. Engler by a friend.I have never met a doctor like him. He is so patient,caring and honest.Dr E performed a tummy tuck and lipo on my back along with abdominal wall reconstruction.One surgeon I had gone to told me that there was nothing that could be done for my abdomen but Dr.Engler disagreed.He insisted that I see a general surgeon he works with before agreeing to do anything himself.The two of them wound up doing a combined six hour procedure. I woke up in recovery to find Dr E at my side.Dr. E was amazing through my entire recovery. He called me everyday.He removed 2lbs from my belly and 2lbs off my back needless to say I look like a different person.I owe it all to Dr. Engler,he transformed my body. He sculpted my tummy,waste and back. He is nothing short of an artist.I would recommend Dr. Engler to anyone who would like to have some work done.
