Dr. Engler patiently answered all of my questions and concerns, not just throughout the initial consultation, but until this very day. I chose Dr. E. not just because of his reputation, but his honesty during my assessment, in telling me what I could realistically expect. Dr. Engler, Arlene and Katie took as much time as needed to answer my questions, and on the day of the surgery, I was greeted by people who were genuinely excited for me and for what was ahead of me post-op. When people truly love what they do, it makes a difference. You can see that in Dr. Engler and his staff. Dr. Engler called me everyday for 2 weeks after my surgery until my follow-up, afterwhich, he continued to check in on me regularly as my healing progressed. 3 months post-op, I am daily amazed by my new shape! I am a patient of Dr. Alan Engler; he removed a fatty lipoma from my forehead. I found my treatment by Dr. Engler to be very thorough and caring. Before the procedure he clearly explained what work he would be doing. The day of the procedure I felt very relaxed, safe, and well cared for. I was also shocked that the scar from the procedure was so minimal that I truly didn't even consider it a scar. I feel Dr. Engler is very competent and skillful doctor, as well as a very good-hearted person. He is generous with his time and attention and encourages patients to ask questions. He is also flexible and understanding. He is very sensitive and has a great sense of humor, too. His office is a warm and friendly environment with a caring staff. They return all phone calls and are always very kind and supportive. I always leave Dr. Engler's office feeling better and happier than when I arrived. I had to get a lipoma removed from my arm and I'm very prone to keloids. I knew I wanted to go to a plastic surgeon since I didn't want a bad scar. After much research and a couple of consultations, I knew I found the right doctor with Dr. Engler. He was very personable, knowledgeable, straightforward, and had the credentials to back him up. After going in for my procedure and a follow up visit, I'm very satisfied. The surgery was painless. During surgery, Dr. Engler and his assistant made me feel at ease by distracting me with good conversation. Most importantly, I barely have a scar! His two staff members were also beautiful, inside and out! They always welcomed me with quality customer service. My entire experience was great. Everything from Dr. Engler's bedside manners, interactions with his staff, and making me feel comfortable about the procedure was of top notch quality. I have been a nurse for 23 years and have worked with dozens of plastic surgeons but when my own daughter needed a breast reduction there was no question who she was going to.I already knew that Dr. Engler is an excellent surgeon, that he is nice to work with and that he gets great results. And, in fact, he did a great job on my daughter. She healed well and quickly, no longer has pain, is comfortable with the way she looks and is a completely new person. What I didn't fully appreciate was how reassuring he would be with my daughter. She was scared, had neck and back pain, didn’t like the way she looked or the attention she was getting and could not participate in physical activities.Dr. Engler guided her through the entire process very gently, told her she would be fine, was patient with her, and make the whole thing surprisingly easy. With a great result. Her biggest problem right now is that she's spending too much money on new clothes-but I guess we can't blame Dr E for that.

I had a massive lipoma on my back (I'm talking almost a 6-inch diameter) and had one goal in mind for its removal: SMALL scar. During our consultation, Dr. Engler assured me that we could do this in his office surgery facility under just local anesthesia. Of course, the injections were a little uncomfortable but he and his assistant talked me through the whole thing and kept me comfortable, and it turned out to be surprisingly easy. The day after the surgery, Dr. E called to check on my status and without hesitation he let me know that he would be coming into the city on Saturday – yes, a Saturday – just so that he could remove the drain and change my dressing. The results of my surgery were incredible & far exceeded my expectations; the size of the incision on my back is about a half-inch; it literally looks like a tiny cat scratch! And virtually no pain at all. So if you're looking for a surgeon who is genuinely committed to the well-begin of his clients, look no further.

Amazing does not even begin to describe the quality of doctor Dr. E is. I wanted to make sure the Dr I was going to go under the knife was board certified and most important someone that I could talk to without feeling I was just another chart. When I met Dr. E he was very informative he answered all my questions and made a drawing of where the incisions would be done.I was never rushed to schedule my surgery I just kept coming back w questions and taking the lollipops that he keeps in a bucket halfway down the hall…on the way out… After the surgery Dr. E called me 2 -3 times a day checking up on me. Making sure I was ok, he even gave me his cell phone number letting me know he was there if I had any questions or concerns. I thought “who does that??” well Dr E does! I am now the happiest I have ever been. I don’t think I would have been able to do it without Dr. E by my side. Hands down the best Surgeon NYC has I would recommend him to anyone looking for Excellent results.

Before actually meeting Dr. Engler himself, I knew that he was the surgeon for me. Just by looking at his work on his website, I was completely confident in his work. After meeting him, I was certain that I was going to have him do my surgery. He was very friendly and approachable. He was also honest and realistic with the breast implant outcomes/decisions, a trait which I’m sure some doctors lack. The recovery period wasn’t as bad as one thinks it is. As expected, the first few days were the worst- the expected fatigue, soreness, and tightness. Dr Engler called me everyday to follow up. Although not completely recovered, I was back to work in five days. Now at three weeks post op, the swelling has gone down significantly, and I look and feel great. There are some arm movements that are still a bit uncomfortable and it takes time to adjust to, but other than that, I already sometimes forget that I even have implants. It just feels amazing.

As a patient of Doctor Engler I feel truly blessed. I first went to him on a recommendation from a friend who knew I had overpaid and had not gotten great results using other plastic surgeons. At first, I only had Botox. The last visit I tried a filler and the results were amazing. He explained step by step what to expect and as always he was right on. Dr Engler is honest and conscientious to avoid over-promising results. He is always very responsive to any questions and or concerns. He gives you the best advice about what would be good for you. He personalizes your treatment each time you visit. He is friendly, witty ,courteous and extremely professional. I find getting older to be a privilege but with Dr Engler I can do it gracefully ! I will without a doubt be a life long patient of his.

I remember setting up a consultation and hanging up the phone and saying to myself "the lady I spoke to seems really nice". When I arrived at the office I thought the staff was great because they all made me feel like I was important. I left the office with answers to all of my questions and was even more secure with my choice of having Dr. Engler perform my surgery. When surgery day came I was so excited for what I considered to be a blessing. After the surgery was performed Dr. Engler called me everyday to find out the status of my recovery. He was always available for if I had any questions or concerns. For any woman who is thinking of having breast augmentation surgery I would highly recommend going to Dr. Engler. To put it simply, the Doctor knows exacly what he is doing. He changed my life and I have finally got the breasts that I've always wished for. At one point I could barely fill out an "A" cup bra and thanks to Dr. Engler I easliy fill out a "C" cup bra!

Unfortunately I have only 1000 chars which cannot express adequately how wonderful Dr. E is! One of my implants had deflated after I had breast augmentation 15 years ago. I did a great deal of research and Dr E stood out with his tremendous reviews. I booked an appt and was greeted by pleasant office surroundings and a sweet staff. I had many questions and Dr. E was he was so patient and thorough in his answers. I decided to have both implants removed with no replacement. Dr E was very supportive w/o pressure to replace them. The surgery went very well and I had very little pain and no bruising. Dr E continued to follow-up with me post-op and over the weekend via his personal cell phone. His genuine care for his patients is so refreshing and greatly helps in alleviating the anxiety. The amazing results 3 weeks post-op show what a skilled surgeon Dr E is. I can't recommend Dr. E and his professional and warm staff enough.
