Went for a lipoma removal by my doctor, It had been present for a few years but was growing in size. At first the procedure was going fine but all of a sudden there was a lot of blood coming out, even though there was still some bleeding she put in some stitches and finished. She said that it might swell up and that if it did I should go to an Emergency Room. Few hours later I had this big, painful ball in my groin and she told me to go the ER. By Monday my entire lower abdomen was swollen and bruised, same thing for my penis and scrotum,I was in excruciating pain. Dr. Engler saw me that day and from the start it was a completely different experience. Since the first moment I met him, Dr. Engler has been everything I could have hoped for, he was extremely compassionate and detail-oriented. He got me into surgery almost over night, and immediately after I was feeling better. I would highly recommend this doctor, he is highly skilled, amazing bedside manner, and will go the extra mile.

If you’re looking for a plastic surgeon, you need not look any further than Dr. Alan Engler. My husband is a physician who supported my decision to have breast augmentation. Plus, I live two hours away AND it turns out I needed a more complicated procedure (a breast lift on both sides in addition to the implants). Dr. Engler is an amazing doctor, and an amazing person. He and his fantastic staff were understanding and comforting at an extremely frightening time in my life. After consultations, pictures, and revised assessments, I finally had my surgery. They all truly made me feel safe, cared for, comfortable, and respected. Following the procedure, Dr. Engler called me every day, weekend included, to check on my condition. I am a Registered Nurse in New York and collaborated with my wife in the search of information about this type of procedure. I researched many surgeons both in and out of New York City and compiled a list of the doctors that I wanted to meet. However, upon reading reviews of Doctor Engler, I decided to meet him first, which turned out to be the best decision.Finally, the day of the surgery came and my wife was scheduled to undergo a mastopexy with breast augmentation. The surgery was performed successfully and my wife was ecstatic about her breasts. The end result was a 375cc silicone implants with placement under both breast muscles.Even though it was only about 3-4 days after the surgery, when he performed the first dressing change, we could see the wonderful job he had done. My wife could not stop smiling and telling me how much she loved the way they turned out. My wife is currently two weeks post operatively and at this point and the results keep improving.

I am so excited to write this letter, share my experience and express my sincerest gratitude to Dr. Alan Engler and his staff. Dr.Engler was my first and only appointment with a plastic surgeon. His professional knowledge, advice,commitment, and genuine concern for the best possible result for his patients was so clear to me, i never had any doubt that I have chosen the right surgeon. My wish list for my surgery were multiple areas:inner/outer thighs and bra rolls. There was another area I didn’t think anything could be done for, my mons pubis that for some reason became a site of extra fat. After my examination Dr.Engler strongly suggested to have this area worked on and felt so resiliently about that was going to do it free of charge. Dr.E thank you!Ever since I was 12 I wanted to get a breast reduction. Ive developed so fast by the time I was 12 I was a full C when I got to middle school I was a G/H and when I got to high school I was H/J or maybe even bigger.I found Dr.E on realself.com and was just blown away with his work and so many positive reviews from his patients. I sent him an email right away and within 10 mins he replied. Around January I met Dr.E and he was just so friendly and nice! His support team were warm and professional. Dr. E explained the process from insurance approval to the actual surgery and again the risks that can go with the procedure. I researched very carefully and selected Dr. Engler based on three criteria: 1) his impeccable professional credentials; 2) patient recommendations; and 3) my intuition about him after our meeting. I knew immediately that Dr. Engler would perform the surgery. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and communicative, but I felt comfortable with him, as if I were having surgery done by someone in the family. He gives you the impression that your well-being is his only concern. This is not an assembly-line doctor. It's as if you are the only patient in the world. Dr. Engler called me every day the first few days after surgery. I had the surgery on a Thursday, and he made an appointment to see me on Sunday, and then again the following week. My next appointment is next week. He has never failed to return a call or email. Dr. Engler's staff is also supportive, enthusiastic and helpful. As for the results, I have been thrilled from day one!

The moment I met Dr. Engler I knew he was the surgeon for me; I had consults with others, but he was by far the best. Dr. E & his staff are so welcoming & he is extremely passionate about his work. I wanted someone who was as fanatical about my outcome as I was & he was exactly that. After surgery,that afternoon & evening, Dr. E called twice to check on me. He did this twice a day for a week, including Saturday & Sunday. I emailed him with questions & always got a quick response back. Once I emailed him at 7:45am Saturday morning & said & hearing from him Monday was ok. Instead, I got a phone call that same Saturday morning at 8:20am in response to my email. No matter what time, or day, Dr. E was always there for me & despite what I may have been interrupting him from he always made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered. The first time I saw my new breasts I was ecstatic. Not only did he give me gorgeous new breasts but he made me feel amazing again.
