After much research I choose Dr. K for his outstanding credentials. Dartmouth, Cornell Medical School and prestigious residency and fellowship. And he did not disappoint. He is knowledgeable and caring and I had excellent results

Dr. Kauffman was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgable andkind and had me back on skis before I ever thought possible. I would strongly recommend him to anyone with an injury.

Great bedside manner. made quick diagnosis and after surgery my knee feels perfect. Highest recommendation.

condescending, rude, incorrect diagnosis and incorrect treatment, overheard him accusing me of faking my pain.. gave a cortisone shot which I was told later by another doctor that was placed in the wrong place.. got second opinion at Dartmouth, completely different from this guy.. Hes been in ca, Ny state with variable reviews.. I would avoid this Dr if a surgery is indicated

Seen him twice, last time kept me waiting in exam room for 30 mins. Went in with a knee injury, told me it was runners knee and to ride the stationary bike to rehab it. 6 months later I still have pain, limited mobility, and am unable to do more than walk on flat surfaces. Seeing another doctor now, and just got an MRI (finally). Am curious to find out what is wrong with my knee, and just how far off the "runners knee" diagnosis was. The other thing, to get an appointment with this office make sure you call one month in advance. That is the wait time. Another reason why going there was a big mistake.
