You too can be a pain management specialist:
After three visits and two injections, Dr. Lopez dismissed me with "You may just have to learn to live with this." Another doctor knew how to get the epidural medicine in the right spot and my back pain was gone. You want to be a pain management specialist? Just practice saying:
"You may just have to learn to live with this."

Staff is so friendly and very organized. Everyone is very nice. Dr. Lopez is a great doctor. He helped me with my pain when no other doctors would help me. He has taken the time to treat me and review my diagnosis thoroughly. I am very happy with the service I received.

Dr ordered X-ray for my mom & they said they would get back to her with results. Or she could call today. She has called 3 times today & been placed on hold for close to 10 minutes each time & no one has picked back up -- even after I explained what was happening to receptionist. She just put us on hold again for another 8 minutes with no response. TERRIBLE patient service & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! If nothing else, they could have a voice mail system that you could leave your info & nurse could listen to & then get back with you!! I understand Dr is really good but don't expect much of anything from staff.

Agree new people PAs don't listen. Charged 600.00 for labs. Don't take into account costs if tests and referrals. Never have refilled meds on time. I realize people abuse them, but why should the ones in pain suffer for them. I don't even know what to do anymore. Very distraught

I was told I was going to see a PA, not Dr Lopez. Since Jorge Barack left, the people that replaced him ( Dr Jorge Barack was great)are more like Bouncers (the people who throw you out). First I heard him talking about me ("that I was a "WALK IN") I had an appointment that I kept even though I was very sick with a flu like virus. When I tried to explain this to the PA he interrupted and said this is a pain Management clinic and I don't need to hear about other problems. He wanted to give me something called NORCO? which I did not ask for. I guess he checked with Dr Lopez and said "NO". Then wanted to give me Tramadol which I told him I already had some at home. In Short I was treated like a "bag lady off the streets" and have now consulted an attorney. I was warned about Dr Lopez by another doctor that wanted me to go to another Pain Management Center, but at the time Dr Barack was there and was a very goood DR educated man. I will never go back there again!!!!

The doctor gave me an injection hitting a nerve, causing my pain level to go over the to.. In addition, the office sent my lab work to a company that did not accept my insurance, costing me over$600
