My experience with Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates was not good. My three year old son had a visually bruised toe that we wanted evaluated by an orthopedic surgeon. They used antiquated x-ray equipment that uses film (not digital) to x-ray his foot. The doctor said our son had a broken toe and gave him an oversized boot to wear for two weeks. The total time the doctor spent with us was two minutes and he never showed us the x-ray, despite my wife requesting to see it twice during our visit. Our son refused to wear the boot when we got home and he was running around like crazy without any problems. This made us question if he even had a broken toe. I called the main office to request a copy of the x-ray. I was told that they would call me back to let me know how much it would cost, but I never heard back from them. My experience with Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates was pretty much disappointing all-around and I would not recommend them to anyone I cared about.
