I am an avid cyclist and ride over 8000 miles per year. In May, I forgot to unclip and ‘fell over’ breaking the lead of my left femur. My first surgury was done at a hospital in Ft. Myers , because that is where the accident offered. Screws were placed and PT began. On the second week, one of the screws came out. Next was another ‘revision’ surgury where again it was not successful.

My first visit to Dr. Dingle, was in August and he said a hip replacement GT was needed. From that point on, the attention to detail was superior to my recent two surgeries. His recommended PT organization, came out prior to surgury and inspected my house, made suggestions to prepare for after surgury. The staff was VERY professional and left no detail to chance.

During this time Sarasota Memorial was closed to ‘elective’ surgeries due to COVID 19.

As soon as surgeries were permitted, Dr. Dingle found a way to have my operation performed on October 1st. That afternoon, I was able to stand up without a walker for the first time since MAY! I was ready to go home, buy nursing has their required paperwork.

The physical therapy provided by On The Go - the recommended service was far superior than my past experiences as they adjusted each session according to my needs. As a result I was back on my ‘trainer bike’ in about three weeks, and my recovery proceeded rapidly.

I also supplemented the physical therapy by going to the Muscle Repair Shop, where special attention was directed to range of motion as well as any knots that had developed.

On December 1, 8 weeks after surgury, I am happy to report that my recovery has been a miracle. In fact, I rode over 600 miles on my road bike during the month of November.

Today, yes, I need to keep moving and muscles continue to strengthen. Sleep comes easily and no pain meds are needed. I am so grateful to have been Dr. Dingle’s patient and look forward to getting back to all the activities I love.

Oh, I’m 70 and motivated to stay physically to enjoy the rest of my light. This was an important chapter that will enable me to do so.

I chose Dr. Dingle when having my knee surgeries initially based on his wonderful reputation. With my first consultation I knew he was the right doctor for me! I wanted a doctor who would not only be knowledgeable, professional, and skilled but be the type of doctor I could talk to-express my concerns, have questions answered, address my particular situation and get me back to a pain free life.
I was an athlete and a runner but, I am also a painting contractor for over 40 years . As my knees deteriorated from over use, and my legs started to bow, I began compensating my walk just to get through the days of pain from carrying heavy loads, going up and down ladders, bending and twisting -it was time for surgery to correct them. Dr. Dingle laid out a plan for surgery and recovery that worked with my lifestyle.
The surgeries for left and right knee were 8 weeks apart. Dr. Dingle was honest every step of the way-- healing begins right away-full recovery will take time. Dr. Dingle's team and administrative staff were accessible and pleasant every step of the way.
I am heading back to my contracting business pain free and more mobile than pre surgery- I may even try running again! Thanks to Dr. Sean Dingle

In my opinion, Dr. Dingle is a top rated orthopedic surgeon. Had great results on my total left hip replacement. No significant pain, only some minor discomfort for two weeks. Walking cane removed after three weeks. After six weeks, feel like new. Great bedside manner. Easy to talk too. Attentive. Also, did my 95 year old mother-in-law's full left hip replacement. She mentioned on day 2 that she would rather have hip surgery with Dr. Dingle than going to the dentist to have a crown. This is due to Dr. Dingle's surgical skills and talents. I would use him again should I have future hip or knee problems. Excellent results speak for themselves. Likeable guy with a great personality and friendly smile.

Dr. Dingle is an excellent surgeon, he is honest and approachable, he replaced my knee by showing me the injury and explaining everything to me in minutes, he sent me home with all the literature I needed to ease my anxiety about the surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone and I will! Dr Dingle and his staff are so professional, courteous and knowledgeable. If you need knee replacement he is your guy...don't waste money and time at other doctors, this guy has it down and he knows what he is doing. Dr Dingle will take good care of you and his P.A. is also quite competent.

I would not have anyone else do a knee replacement for me. My Physical Therapists were amazed at my quick recovery. I had two replacements a year apart and in 5 weeks I was back on my bike!

Dr. Dingle is an amazing surgeon. I recently had total knee replacement with him and it is amazing how great my knee looks 8 weeks later. Sure it's painful and stiff in the morning and evenings, but this too will pass. Dr. Dingle ensures your questions are answered and he sits down on your eye level to discuss and not talk over you. Every Physical Therapist I have seen rave about the recovery of his patients. I am glad I went to five different Surgeons before deciding. His office staff could learn to "slow down" as they are taking patients to their rooms. They walk like the office is on fire and many patients use walkers, canes, or on crutches. They don't seem to care and have little empathy. But, Dr. Dingle is experienced and professional

Dr. Sean Dingle is the greatest... A physician who gives you hope, peace, comfort, and a sense of wellbeing from the moment you meet him... you're aware he's going to give you 100%. I had two hip replacements 2013 and 2014, when I walk you would never think I had both hips replaced. I thank you Dr. Dingle indeed you've made my remaining years "golden" for sure. I'm telling you "people" if you want great hips and a great attitude see my Dr. Sean Dingle because when you're almost hitting that 80yr. old mark you tend to lean toward "attitudes"
