Little over month ago I had stopped by the Olympia Neurology office and asked the receptionist if they review medical records in support of the VA claims, that I had been disapproved for ulnar neuropathy which the VA said was not service-connected, even though I have had the symptoms since 1998 and I feel It is well documented and it was suggested to me to get it reviewed by a neurologist. She said yes they do it all the time. So I got a referral waited over a month, got all my paperwork together for the appointment with Dr. Kesting (Army veteran). On 23 September I arrived for my appointment everybody was polite, until the doctor came into the examining room he was cold and callous towards me. I started to explain that I needed my VA paperwork reviewed, he immediately cut me off and said "I don't do paperwork for VA". I tried to explain the situation and show him the paperwork, him he cut me off again "I'm not going to go through that paperwork". During the exam he also made comments something to the effect that he cannot see why I cannot work (which was very rude of him and none of his business) I retired in May 1998 in June of 1998 I have had a numbness in my all 4 of my finger diagnosed as CTS. The Dr. said this might be my imagination the numbness in 2 of my fingers. I was diagnosed with ulnar neuropathy in 2011 (form those words I assume in his opinion is that I imagined ulnar neuropathy into existence). I felt belittled by this man and betrayed by this office. I feel that they were anti-veteran by saying they would review my claim medical records then refused to do so, they failed to listen to me and address my concerns. Even if he looked at the paperwork and could not see what I'm talking about I can except that, but talking down to me the way he did uncalled for. I did call and talk to the office manager (who was concerned) she said she would try to contact me later that afternoon after she talked to the Dr. did not receive a call,
I do not recommend this office to any veteran looking for a review of a VA claim it will be a waste of time. Now I have to try to find another Doctor to review my paperwork and pay for out of pocket.
