Back in 2001, Dr. Landau diagnosed me with “something serious, like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis” after I explained my symptoms and she looked at my hands. Entire process took about 3 minutes. Did blood tests and called with results the following day. Sent me to a rheumatologist where I was diagnosed with dermatomyositis. Entire process took about 10 days. Some patients at the Hospital for Special Surgery’s Myositis Support group said it took up to 2 years, going from doctor to doctor, to get a diagnosis while they were feeling progressively worse. Went to her in June 2019 because I saw what looked like a dark mole on my body. Thought for sure it was cancer. To my great relief, Dr. Landau said it was a blackhead and removed it immediately. Wonderful office.

I have gone to Dr. Landau for about 15 years now as follow up after an operation to remove a melanoma (she didn't do the actual operation, just the follow up). I am very happy with her: she is is through, increased my visits to every six months after I had breast cancer, and has never tried to sell me any cosmetics!

Please avoid Dr. Landau. I went to her for treatment of a small cyst, she left me with a large, deep, pitted scar on my cheek. I went back to her to fix this and she recommended expensive laser treatments which did nothing. I have been permanently disfigured due to her carelessness.

Amazing dermatologist. Too bad she stopped taking my insurance and way too expensive to pay out of pocket. but I highly recommend her to go to if you have dermatological problems as well as you need cosmetic procedures done. All doctors in that office are great.
