I have been with Dr Horseman for over 15 yrs. He does take the time to listen to you so he gets way backed up so long wait time. If you call the nurse good luck getting a call back. The only reason I stay with him is he has been my dr for so long.

I have been going to Dr. Horseman for 20 years. He is a rarity among doctors. He actually cares about his patients and spends a lot of time with them. And he is very competent. He is usually running late because he spends so much time with each patient. And his office staff personnel are wonderful. His nurse Jeannie is great also. What a wonderful combination.

I agree wholeheartedly with all the wonderful ratings listed for Dr. Horseman! He is an incredible doctor and person. He never makes you feel rushed, I guess that's why I don't mind if he is running late...I know he is listening to someone else. He is worth his weight in gold. He considers your physical and emotional health as well and how they contribute to each other. He's not afraid to try things to help and doesn't make you feel guilty when asking for help. He really gets the link between emotional health and physical health. I had suffered from a terribly tragic experience that literally changed my brain chemistry 7 years ago. Thanks to Dr. H and his patient assistant Jeannie I am almost medication free and feeling better than I have in years. They just don't make doctors like him any more. I rate him as a 5 xs 1,000,000. He is truly a doctor, and healer in every sense of the word and I feel he is one of the blessings Jesus has bestowed on me:)

How many doctors actually take a seat in the exam room to listen to what you have to say? How many doctors not only ask the reason for your visit but also asks environmental questions that may be affecting your health like how's work, are you experiencing any additional stress that kind of thing; Dr. Horsman does. I moved from Gainesville to Panama City, Florida and I actually take time off once a year and make the 4hr drive to Gainesville for my annual examination with Dr. Horseman. Of course I try to fit in other activities in the trip but still, I feel so comfortable with him (his concern and knowledge) that I would rather drive to him than spend the time trying to find another physician. If I move out of state or further away, I may have to find another physician, but for now I'd rather make the drive and go to a physician I trust and I trust Dr. Horseman.

I have been a patient of Dr Horseman for 7 years. He is an awesome Dr and I appreciate everything he has done for me over the years. I wish he took Humana for my wife, so she could receive the same great care.

I feel more comfortable with Dr. Horseman than I have with possibly any other doctor. He was very sensitive to the emotional impact of my condition and goes out of his way to avoid touching me in ways that might be triggering. He listens and seems to respect me as a fairly knowledgeable patient.

This doctor has been my family physician for about 12 years now. He is very competent, knowledgeable, and has the patient's best treatment as his utmost concern. He does take AvMed insurance, which is not listed in the choices. Dr. Horseman is not a very outspoken man, but takes into regard the patient's complaints. Normally, I am not kept waiting too long for an appointment.
