This office is among the worse I have ever seen. There is an office sign stating that the minimum office visit wait time is two hours. I saw people there who were asked to come at 10am and the dr did not arrive to Brownsville from McAllen until after 4pm. No one at the office could tell waiting patients when the dr would arrive.
We were sold a brace and told to figure out how to put it on our selves. The staff member did not know how.
The dr never gave options. He just stated the procedure he was going to do without asking us what we thought.
Do not go there unless you have all days to wait. We will never go back.

Took to much time to be seen. Appointment was at 1:30 left there till 5pm. Dr only spent 10 min at most talking to me about my pain. Made a plan to treat Mr after that. Went strsight to do steroid injectons on my lumbar area before doing any exams

My husband had an appointment scheduled a week and a half out because that was the soonest date ava! I just so happened to call 2 business days ahead to get directions and to see if he should discontinue any of his medication prior to the procedure! She begins to tell me that my husband doesn't have an appt for 7/29 and I was like yes he does, you scheduled it! She proceeds to tell me that Dr Rashid was already in the Houston office this week so therefore he won't be back in Houston until the 1st week of August! I was like, no way! My husband has been in such pain for weeks now and now your telling me without notice from you that he has to wait another week! Were you gonna notify us, she says yes and I'm like okay, when cuz tomorrow is Friday & his appt is for Monday! How in the heck can they just do this to folks who are in unconscionable pain! I would not recommend this pain management dr for your dog!!

Terrible. Rude. Never again. No help. Was only seen for 3 minutes and was given no explanations. This man shouldn't even be allowed to practice

been going to this (doctor) for lower back pain. First consult, it took him 2 seconds to tell me I had inflammation of nerves. He didn't discuss my MRI exam that was done a month ago. waiting to get shot on lower back is ridiculous.. I would ask questions on what injection where they given me. No answer.. I asked for literature on the medication. They didn't have any. I was freaking out not knowing what they were injecting into my spine. Please people. Be aware of scams for insurance. I believe this is one of them. My end point is "After 3 Inj. my Back is still the same"... Do Not Go there... He is just an anesthesiologist, Not a Real MD. ***Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning,,*******

Appointments set early around 8 but doctor arrives at 11 am. Loonnnggg waiting times. Dr. Rashid hardly or rarely speaks to you. PA will make up health plan. Nurses appear to be intimidated by Dr. If you have a procedure and are fasting you'll wait 3-5 hrs without eating. Mr. Mata, PA is a very nice man, so are staff but stresses over situations out of their control.

Dr tremendously overbooks, has very poor dr/patient rapport, is arrogant and has no consideration for patients comfort or wellbeing. He may be proficient, but lacks humanity -- treats patients like congealed masses of protoplasm to be "done unto" with no explaination as to possible causes, effects of procedures or possible outcomes. On my initial visit I waited three hours and was "seen" by the dr for only four minutes, mostly spent dictating to a technitian with a computer, almost completely ignoring me. The second visit, for a subdural cortisone injection, went downhill from there. May be competent, but----- only under severe duress will I go there again.
