So full of knowledge, so personable and caring, and so professional. My kids and I have seen amazing changes and progress in the care of Dr. Darou. She is fantastic!!

I have been seeing Dr. Darou for the past 6 months, and chose her as an experienced naturopath who could 'think outside the box'. I have been impressed by her knowledge, assessment and careful treatment plan. She accurately identified a chronic infection that was causing me to constantly feel fatigued and was affecting my thyroid function. Through treating this infection and helping me to detoxify more effectively, I am feeling better than I have in years! I very highly recommend Dr. Darou - she is a caring, smart doctor and her office staff have been very helpful too.

I am so very disappointed in the service this clinic provided. After having undergone a lumpectomy, Dr. Darou came highly recommended for breast cancer support. After my initial appointment, $245 I was asked to fill out a form for the clinic to retrieve blood test results and other medical information from my family doctor and hormone doctor. Those results were not sent. But the clinic didn't inform me of this and I was left waiting for over a month until I called. The receptionist was cool and asked me to repeat the request form to my doctor. Another month went by and Dr. Darou again did not respond. Nobody followed up or asked how my progress was going. I have called twice since and received, what I felt was an un genuine 'sorry' from the receptionist and no advice on how to get the ball rolling! I feel very let down and frustrated . I expected a caring group to help me through this difficult time.

I highly recommend Dr. Darou and her comprehensive team at Darou Wellness. Dr. Darou is helping me with hormone imbalance, and I have also worked with the osteopath at the clinic and also pelvic physiotherapist. I have really benefited from a team-approach to healthcare and feel very well supported right now. I have had more questions answered in three short months with Dr. Darou and her team, than I have over years of medical specialist appointments! My only wish was that this was covered under OHIP too.

I started to see Dr. Darou 4 months ago for weight loss because I feel like I have tried everything and every time I lose weight, I gain it all back and then some. Dr. Darou was extremely thorough with me during the first visit, and she explained that there were likely some obstacles that were preventing the weight loss. She did some lab testing for food intolerances, thyroid function, insulin resistance and digestive function. After so many years of struggling, I finally feel like I understand why I have so much trouble with my weight, and what I can do about it. I found out that I had a very extreme dairy intolerance, insulin resistance and an imbalance in my gut. All of these have been keeping my body stuck. I am extremely grateful to have met Dr. Darou and now feel that I have a direction with all of this. She also referred me to her excellent nutritionist to coach me with the diet and life changes that are personalized for me. This has been well worth the investment, and I'm seeing results that I never dreamed were possible, and with no 'dieting' required! I highly recommend Dr. Darou.

I have been seeing Dr. Darou for the past year, for endometriosis. I have found her to be exceptionally compassionate, and extremely thorough - and love that she looks for and treats the root cause of the issue, not just the symptoms. After years of traditional endometriosis treatment from my family doctor and gynecologist, including years of medication and several surgeries, following Dr. Darou’s recommendations and overhauling my diet/looking at food sensitivities that have been causing inflammation, has drastically reduced my symptoms. I never thought I would get it under control, and it is now completely manageable. I am forever grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Darou!

I have been seeing Dr. Darou for close to 10 years. She is the first person I call when I have a health issue. She has never let me down, always gives me multiple options that work with my specific needs and values, and always leaves me with a sense of hope! She is professional, very knowledgeable and truly considers the 'whole person' when she helps you. She is a great listener and I have never felt 'dismissed' or rushed by her like I often find with "traditional" medical practitioners. I highly recommend her. Tamara

Very unimpressed with Dr. Darou - like several others mentioned in comments below, I felt like I was being marketed to rather than being treated like a patient. I left each appointment with a very large dent in my bank account. Not only that but I tried her treatments for infertility and they didn't help at all. :(
