horrible doctorr! dr tanden only saw me for 30 seconds before rushing out of the room and I can NEVER get through on the phone! I prefer the 8 hour wait in emerge rather than seeing that doctor ever again.

I would just like to say how happy i am that i finally have a doctor after years of waiting on a list. It took less then 10 mins to register with Dr.N. Tandon and he was able to see me that day. I feel that he went above and beyond what most doctors do to help out some one who is in need and to get to the real root of the problem. I have read a few post about people saying they can never get threw on the phone, I have been there waiting to get in and the phone there rings non stop every time i am there, it is not because no one is around to answer the phone. so if its busy its because some one got threw before you did. And migh i add that this doctor is open 7 days a week not 5 like most doctors.every time i have gone to a walk in clinic in this town they send me over to emerge cause they cant do anything but fill scripts for the common cold ect. this is a great doctor as well as his staff. Thank you we should be so lucky.

Family doctors being a rare commodity - I registered here. However the registration is probably worthless as a walk in clinic is a far better option. Being in good health I have not needed more than a yearly check up but when I phoned with severe strep throat on two days running - I was told to contact the emergency number in the evening (on both days) to get service. Find a real functioning clinic would be my advice. This one is useless if you have a real health problem

First appointment I said, "I have ibd and I'm wondering if you could give me suggestions for pain relief." I am a new patient so I figured he would do what my old fam doc always did and check my specialist updates, file, blood work. Nope! He looked at me and said, "I'm not a middle man for your specialist - call her." "I cant write you a script" then left the room. I just needed guidance or maybe a few t3s from my fam doc to function at work through my current flare up pain. (My specialist lives 2 hours away) I think any good doctor would ask follow up questions about a patient's diagnosis to get more info from them. I also had to book three weeks in advance for a test that I could've had done at a walk in clinic that day. If you're not seeing a nurse and no one is taking your blood pressure then you need to be wary. We called to complain because I thought that dr. Tandon must've been mistaken and thought I was a walk in. I was promised a call back and never got one.

I would not waste my time to register with this doctor and with this office. The phone lines are always busy, hang up on you automatically, or simply are not answered. The receptionists are completely unhelpful and ignore you when you come in to the office. I have stood at the window waiting for an extremely long period of time before while the receptionist chatted to the nurse or others and just completely ignored me. The nurses themselves are unable to answer even the most basic of questions. I have no confidence in them treating myself or my family. It is unfortunate that Dr.Tandon is one of very doctors currently accepting new patients, it leaves people with very little options. The previous post is correct, he rarely does a hands on evaluation to detect what the true problem is and often just prescribes to get you out of his office.

The fact that I took the time to register an account on here to write this review shows my displeasure with the experience I have received from Dr. Naveen Tandon and his staff. First of all, the phone line is ALWAYS busy and in order to book an appointment, you need to email the doctor on his "GMAIL" account which I have never received a reply to this day. Every occassion I have arrived, the staff have not been attentive and the office has the feeling of a walk-in clinic versus a family clinic. I feel that with the shortage of Doctors here in Ontario, Dr. Tandon takes it for granted as he does not thoroughly assess you and is very quick to write a prescription or note without properly assessing. I've gone to the office approximately 4 times, and the average time he sees you is less than 1 minute which is just shocking. He very rarely makes eye contact and it seems he wants to get you out the door very quickly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AS I AM NOW DEROSTERING HIM!@!!

Doctor Naveen Tandon was my doctor since last year, 2011. When he was in his old office (cambridge) with other doctors, he was so busy and hard to make an appointment to see him. So, when I first met the doctor for first time, he did not even give me an eye contact. But after he moved to his own office, and when I saw him about two months ago, he seemed he was more willing to listen and tried helping to solve my problems. This time, he actually made a lot of eye contacts with me. I think doctor is young compared to many other doctors. But he is very knowledgeable. So I think I should never assume doctors because he look young and/or when you meet just once/few. Doctor is a human too..we need to make a long life relationship with the doctor.

I asked him to take my blood pressure and he said he wouldn't because I was stressed and he knows it would be high.... he is now my former doctor.

I went to see this doctor for the first time and had blood test prior to my visit. The test showed a slightly elevated cholesterol. So the guy has a nerve to tell me to get active and lose some weight. How can he just assume that I'm sitting on my butt all day long? I bet he would die first 15 minutes into my workout routine. He was so condescending and high and mighty the mister needs to come down from his high horse. I guess, no amount of professional designation and university degrees can fix the ****. Yeah, that's what you get for forming your opinions on assumption, and you know what they say about opinions, they are like ****s, everyone's got one.

A complete disappointment,he was not responsive to questions, was uninterested in helping or even listening. After a year and multiple visits,I still have the same health problem...am no closer to getting it resolved, and have fewer options for help now-thanks to his decided lack of effort.I'll be removing my name from his patient list as fast as possible.I would not recommend him.
