Dr. Mark Kwon did an amazing job for us: he performed sinus lift and installed implant without any pain afterwards. Recovery was fast and after almost 9 months I don't feel that I have an artificial tooth. Highly recommended.

Dr. Mark Kwon is an amazing dentist and superb at doing difficult implant cases! I know because I had my front upper 6 teeth done in 2015. There was nothing easy about my dental situation. Dr. Kwon did an excellent job throughout the difficult surgery and implants; which took much longer in actual time due to the advanced deterioration of bone in my upper jaw. I am so thankful to Dr. Kwon and his staff and have no hesitation about recommending him to anyone who is looking for an excellent outcome.

They asked me to keep my own glasses on but I didn’t want my expensive prescription glasses to get nicked or scratched. I asked for theirs. The protective glasses they gave me was absolutely FILTHY. it is COVID times and people can get COVID from a filthy pair of glasses that touches their eyelashes which it did mine. They had not cleaned their glasses. That was very disconcerting. I changed it back to my own but I was worried that since my eyelashes gad touched the filthy inner surface of their goggles that I could catch someone’s ailments. There should be some sort of inspection for this kind of business for cleanliness.

Dr. Kwon and the entire staff at Chrysalis Dental Centre are beyond amazing. When you have an appointment, they will spend the whole scheduled period with you if need be; I know when I come in to see Dr. Kwon, he’s already reviewed the reasons for my coming in and my file. I never feel rushed, and he always asks if I have any other questions. He’s awesome.
Tracy & the entire staff are truly exceptional ! Angels ! Helpful in every way.

This is the first time I had an implant done. In fact, I went to 3 different specialist on implant quotation and Dr. Kwon is the one I pick. He address what he thinks the best for me and Tracy, the coordination did a very good job. I was very impressed by her professionalism. She was the one who asked me all the important questions in regards to the implant, such as reason, concern, background, but then she summarized the key notes and present it to Dr. Kwon. Only few minutes of her summary, he already know me well. I don’t need to repeat what I told Tracy and she only told Dr. Kwon what is really matter about my case. She is a sweet lady and she never rush me to leave as I think we chat for long long time. She makes me feel very welcome and she told me her story about her mom did the implant at age 60+ and how she start her career with Dr. Kwon.

Today is my surgery appointment. It is 1hr 30 min appointment and they finished right on time, minus the preparation, chatting and withdraw blood sample, I think the surgery only take 30 mins. Dr. Kwon is very funny man and happy man. He told me his life is complete as he has 2 sons and 1 girl. Very simple man and he loves his job. During the procedure I only feel tightly pain as the needle went in and out. Other than that, it is easier than do the root cancel or even filling. He keeps me inform what he is doing and check if I am ok throughout the whole process. Now it is 6 hours after the surgery, I don’t feel any pain. Either the pills work or he did a good job. He was telling me since I met him, it is a simple surgery and he did over 1000 times. He didn’t lie. It is faster than doing filling. I have 3 implant and the actual surgery time is about 30 mins.

Dr. Kwon is a very sincere dentist and I never met or heard any dentist will do this to their clients. After the surgery, they brief me all the after surgery precaution and with the rinse, tooth brush, ice pack and a bowl of congee because I can only take liquid form food for next 24 hours. What a loving dentist!

I strongly recommend Dr. Kwon to anyone. I have been to many dentists in my life and he is the best I ever met.

This is the first time I had an implant done. I was recommended by by family dentist after the first one that he recommended whom I was not impressed with. I first met up with Tracey, Dr. Kwon's coordinator. I was so impressed by her professionalism, friendly nature, smiles and most of all addressed all my concerns and fears. Then I was introduced to Dr. Kwon who checked my tooth and more so reassured me that I had nothing to worry but first had to do a blood test to confirm that I am okay to go ahead due to my osteoporosis. When the result came out I was okay to go ahead, wow I was so impressed by Dr. Kwon and his staff, from the get-go to the last appointment last Friday. After the surgery, Dr. Park attended to all my follow-up appointments. I was very impressed by him as well. All the staff were so professional and helpful and always greeting patients with a smile. Dr. Kwon and his staff is like a family to me now. It was so hard to say goodbye to all of them at my last appointment. I have no hesitation to recommend anyone who is thinking of doing an implant. I am already thinking of doing a second implant now instead of a crown which my family dentist have recommended for one of my molar.

I’m scheduling more dental surgery , had some 5 yrs ago , and all of my appointments are booked so nothing is left to chance .
