Very condescending and rude. There is no need to treat anybody that way. I will never go back to her or recommend her to anyone.

I've been going to her for almost 4 years, as have my wife and granddaughters. I've seen nothing to complain about. She is very thorough with her examinations and refers patients to other professionals should the need arise. I also find her very personable and friendly.

First vist to the office. Reception and other staff great, very friendly but also very efficient. Dr Ashton likewise, very professional, very knowledgable and keen to offer advice and answer questions. I would 100% recommend Dr Ashton and her staff, I was really impressed.

Fantastic doctor in the sense that she knows her profession well. Like other comments, her bed side manner is lacking. Given that I don't have to see her often, I'll take her knowledge over her personality and know that I'm getting a doctor that well ensure my eye care needs are met.

very rude and abrupt. needs to learn a better chair side manner. would not go back to her as she made me very upset and not comfortable at all!

Both my wife and I have had appointments recently with Dr.Ashton. We found her to be very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions we had, even bringing up websites and photo's to illustrate her explanations during the appointment. Nice to meet a doctor that has a real interest in her work, I've been to others that were just there to measure your prescription and move on to the next person. I could see how her age (<40) or confidence may put some off who like a different style, but it's what we were looking for.

I haven't been in for an eye exam since having had my laser eye surgery 15 or so years ago, but I took my son to see Dr Ashton earlier this year. I found her to be very personable and made my 7-year-old feel at ease. I definitely did not get the same sense as the other posters. I would recommend Dr. Ashton to friends.
