Dr MacDougall is an amazing pediatrician. He is hilarious and caring and always takes his time with my girls (also with all my questions)He has never rushed me and gives the best advice (about sleeping, eatting and teaching the little ones)He is very knowledgeable. He talks to my children when they are scared and makes them laugh. I feel so comfortable with him and trust him. The receptionist is the most professional and sweetest person. I cant imagine the amount of work she has to do and the people she has to keep up with on the daily bases. They are an amazing team and i always recommend Dr.Macdougall to everyone who asks.

The best pediatrician! Dr. MacDougall is kind, funny, supportive, and so sweet with my little one. Everything he’s said has been right. Definitely recommend him! (His receptionist has also always been kind to us and accommodating.)

Dr Grant MacDougall is a great pediatrician. Our daughter saw him for the first time last week and we really enjoyed him. We had a few concerns that he addressed and referred us to a specialist even though he said it will likely correct itself on its own. He took his time with us and was very friendly. He is a bit Quirky like some have said but there’s nothing wrong with that! The receptionist Lisa was extremely friendly, I don’t know why people are saying they disliked her! Would recommend.

I will NEVER take my son to Grant McDougall ever again. Let me tell you that before writing this review I have taken time to calm down and reflect on whether I was right or wrong and also not say saying anything rude or disrespectful that I may regret.

Grant has seen our son 3 times over the span of 5 months. The first time we ever met him we already thought there was something a little off about him. He walked in wobbly, speech was slow and slurred, and he was making some weird jokes. Honestly I thought he was drunk but as he’s a “Doctor” we gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Today we went for our third checkup and had a list of concerns. Our son doesn’t sleep well through the night often waking up every half hour to 45 mins and my wife is feeling signs of post Partum anxiety/depression to name a few. So we thought going to a professional could help us with tips or resources as we are first time parents and we are tired and sleep deprived.

He was quick to brush off all of our concerns. We felt like he didn’t even let us finish voicing our concern before telling us everything is normal. He even told my 5 month old that his mom was “being so critical of you”.

As we are very tired and really at the end of the line as far as what we feel we can handle. We were hoping to find some sort of help, guidance, or direction. He showed no empathy towards us, was so quick to try to get us out of there.

At the point that I felt I wasn’t getting the professional help that we required. I expressed how I felt which is when he got angry, yelled at me while waving his finger in my face and told me he didn’t have to be there. He then asked me if I wanted a new paediatrician for our next appointment which I quickly said “Yes!” to. He then says “well nobody is booking right now so you’ll be on your own”.

I wouldn’t recommend this person to any new parent. Him and his receptionist are rude, he isn’t helpful at all, and most importantly I DO NOT trust him with the health and well being of my son.

Dr. Grant Macdougall is very wonderful.very nice, very friendly and very knowledgeable in every question that you asked. He’s really good and gentle with my kids. But his assistant, she’s the very rude person i had encountered, maybe she needs to be replaced, like the better one with a good attitude.

Dr. MacDougall is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and seems to be knowledgeable. Really good and gentle with my daughter. THAT ASSISTANT HOWEVER, NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Rudest person I have ever had to deal with. No manners whatsoever.
