I'vr been seeing Dr Hudson for about 6 months now. When I have an appointment I am impressed with his thoroughness and knowledge. Unfortunately this is now the second time I've tried to get an appointment only to find there is no one there. I'm going to be looking for another doctor.

As a new patient I came in for a routine checkup (second visit to his office). When I showed up for my appointment, the office was closed. No messege on the door, no phone to me to reschedule, nothing. I lost pay at work that day because I took the afternoon off. There is a note on his door that says $40 charge for patients who don't show, but what happens if the doctor doesn't show? I'll be looking for a doctor who reliable.

If you are looking for a new doctor in Kelowna...keep looking. Having met Dr. Hudson in a meet & greet I wasn't impressed overall as both my husband and I mistook him for a patient when he walked into the room. We did, however, decide to give him a chance. He took our histories and sent me for baseline blood tests. I got those results back a month later as Dr. Hudson seemed to disappear into thin air for almost a month. No answering machine explaining his absence, no sign on the door...just gone. I knew he had closed before due to medical issues and he assured me that if he was not around that another doctor would cover his patients. Not so! All in all, a very disappointing experience. Am continuing the search for a good, RELIABLE doctor in Kelowna.

Dr Hudson is an unexpected find. I have lived in Kelowna for almost 3 years, and finally got a family doctor who is fairly good. However, I live very close to the Hudson Medical Center so found myself dropping by there for convenience sake. Every time I go, Dr Hudson is so patient and thorough (so tough to find those qualities in a doctor these days) that I now tend to go there less for convenience and more for the fact that he's a good doctor. He's friendly, gentle and, most importantly, takes the time to diagnose you rather than firing off rounds of useless prescriptions.

Wow what a great Doc, we are so lucky to have found him! We moved to kelowna about 6 months ago and have been looking for a family doctor ever since. Doctor Hudson really took the time to meet us and personally take our medical history instead of getting us to fill out a generic form. He is also incredibly thorough and sent us for a range of baseline tests to better diagnose us in the future AMAZING MAN!!

Dr Hudson is kind caring and unwilling to give up if he can't figure things out fast. He may seem a bit quiet when you first meet him but after a bit he opens up. He takes the time to explain things and actually cares about his patients. Melody his office manager is more than fantastic. There should be more docs like him.

This is the best family doctor in town. Unlike him, most of doctors these days are rather "medical service providers", than doctors. They are usually pushy and quick with prescribing unnecessary symptomatic medications. And if it doesn't work, then it's all in your head. Sounds familiar, right? Well, in most cases it's not in our heads, but we have real ailments in our bodies. They just can't make the right diagnosis. Dr. Hudson is excellent in diagnostics. He IS the REAL doctor. Yes, he looks quiet. As in other comments they say "shy". But I have to tell you that only in this society (US/Canadian) being shy is considered as negative. Where I came from it's a GOOD thing to be shy and modest. No one likes pushy persons, even in Canada. But for some reason the ideal image of a doctor in the western society is a cheerful guy always grinning at you. That's just stupid.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Hudson. He is a quiet man, gentle seeming man. He was very prompt, he took the time to answer all my questions and address every concern I had. He wrote me a referral for the only Dermatologist in Kelowna and had an appt for my right away. I left feeling very satisfied with my new doctor.

Dr Hudson has taken 3 months off from his practice for personal reasons. He will be back and has a replacement doctor taking care of his patients. He is a wonderful doctor with a huge heart. He is brilliant, and very funny when you get to know him. He really knows his job and has great bedside manner.
