Dr. Hudson was a very good Doctor, due to some medical problems he retired early. While he was in practice he was a very good doctor. Very knowledgable, friendly and professional. It's very sad that he is not around.

At my first and only appointment with Hudson, at age 42, I was seeking a complete physical to establish a medical baseline, intending to begin regular health check-ups. Hudson seemed mildly irritated that I was attempting to be proactive, and undertook a minimal physical screening and medical history. "You're healthy. Come back and see me when you're sick." By the time I attempted to make another appointment, Hudson had closed his office without bothering to contact his patients. After finally finding a new doctor, he ordered a complete set of blood tests. Turns out I had dangerously high, off-the-charts cholesterol levels. Thanks for nothing, Dr. Hudson. You had no interest in my health, no respect for me as a patient, and didn't bother to discover my life-threatening medical condition. Good riddance.

Best Doctor I've ever had. He was the most professional, and knowledgeable. It's very sad that he's not my doctor now. Please come back Dr. Hudson.

I worked for the Hudson family many years ago. They were very kind people. Heather was a very nice lady and helped me through a difficult period.

It's sad that Doctor Hudson is no longer around. Before he became ill, he was an excellent Doctor. I believe his health issues led to the closure of his practice without notice. It would have been nice if he arranged for someone to call his patients to let us know. I personally am concerned and would like to know what happened to him. He is a very nice man.

May 6, 2013: Made an appointment one month ago (receptionist answered the phone and all sounded good) but got there today and the office was closed with that sign OFFICE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Was hoping that things had changed since the last posting in January 2013, but obviously they haven't. Still looking for a Family Doctor.

My spouse and I moved to Kelowna this summer and had a hard time finding a family doctor. We learned that Dr Hudson was accepting patients and had a good reputation, so we gave him a try. On our first office visit, we had the same experience as some of the other users here; we mistook him for a patient! His manner in the examining room was also very awkward and did little to put us at ease. On my next visit, the dr had no office staff, couldn't find my file for a referral, and seemed ill and distracted. Since we had few other options, my spouse recently tried to make another appointment, but there was a message saying that the office was closed until further notice. We have no idea where the dr went or if he's ever coming back. We are back to square one, looking for a new family doctor.

His office is now closed until further notice. Fine, but now my new doctor is unable to get my files. I'm in limbo. Found out he was "gone" b/c my drug store couldn't fill a prescription due to his office being closed. Don't know if his license was pulled or not but the college doesn't seem to know if there will be a replacement or not. Very unprofessional

Dr. Hudson appears quite unprofessional. His office has closed unexpectedly and no reason given leaving his patients out in the cold.

My partner just called me so frustrated. This is the second time he has had an appointment and showed up to find the office closed. He takes time off work for these appointments. It is interesting to note that there is a sign on the door that says there will be a $40 fee for missed appointments. It would be nice if the same courtesy was shown for the patients. Where are the Office Assistants?? What is going on?
