I love Dr. Akervall - he took incredible care of one of my best friends. I spent 11 months taking care of her and Jan Akervall was there every step of the way. Amazing man.

My wife went to three walk in clinics and saw three different MD's for a persistent cough. The results were three improper diagnosis with no success. Dr. Akervall corrected her sinus infection in one visit!

Dr. Akervall treated me for Head and Neck cancer and it was 100% successful. He is also very easy to talk to and is respectful of the patient.

Excellent doctor! Wonderful bedside manner, very knowledgeable in his field, was very proactive with ordering necessary tests and when he realized an oral surgeon consult was needed he called one immediately (while we were there at the first appointment) and explained the situation and got us in right away. He is very personable and respectful. You feel like you can ask questions without getting a condescending answer in return. I highly recommend him!

This doctor saved my husband's life. After hearing the devastaing news that he had cancer and being so uncomforatble with the first doctor that he saw, Dr. Akervall was the bright spot in the situation. He was so positive and reassuring. He walked my husband, step-by-step through his cancer ordeal. He underwent a nine hour surgery with him and was cut from ear to mid throat. While he is left with a scar, Dr. Akervall miminimzed the scarring to a point that it is barely noticable. A highly skilled surgeon, but and even more compansionate and caring professional.

This guy only knows the most elementary kind of basics in his field. So, if you need a hearing aid or some wax removed from your ears, this is the guy to see. Anything more complex is beyond his capability + you will be wasting your time to see this most unknowledgable doctor.
