Dr. Dempsey sends out letters, via Anthem Insurance, directing individuals to get a multitude of tests, including depression screening. She has never met these Anthem customers, but asks that these people get the tests for a free $25.00 VISA card. One question for Dr. Dempsey and Anthem: if you have the funds to sponsor this program, why not pay for mammograms for breast cancer survivors. At last check, mammograms for breast cancer survivors costs the survivor $300 out of pocket.
