An excellent choice, if you want to work with someone (no one can do it FOR you) toward a better, more productive life. Open ears and mind are required. Don't expect things to be different if you aren't willing to change - and that can be uncomfortable and irritating, even. Just know that going in. (I try not to take my frustration at this out on Dr. Janet - He is a good person dealing with a lot of clients dissatisfied with life. He struggles with a lot of us - Not an altogether gratifying or enviable job. He still extends a hand. All of us are in the humans condition, including him. He has a great deal of training, insight and knowledge - Makes one more human, not less. Compassion is important for ALL of us, especially those in challenging professions.) I am grateful for his presence.

Very frustrated in one sentence he told my son to find an activity away from school to help him meet new friends, great idea! Next sentence tells me (mom) if he won't do it to call the cops and have him locked up at MCG psych ward. This should scare him to spend a couple of days there and it just might help.
