Biography
"First of all, I am a father. I go home every day and put on my "Dad" hat. I know what it feels like to have a midnight emergency, or to be frustrated, potty-training a stubborn three-year-old. I understand the difficulty of explaining to kids why we have to share, as well as explaining where babies come from to inquisitive older children. I go home every day and change diapers, wash bottles, place band-aids, and wipe snotty noses. I have two teenagers I'm teaching how to drive. I'm immersed in the experience of parenthood, so I really understand my patients and their parents. As I practice medicine in the clinical setting, I draw on knowledge from years of training, and insights from years of experience. But I try never to forget that the people I see every day are...people, just like me. We're all on a similar journey. We all have similar goals. It's my privilege to practice medicine and to bless the children I see. It's a privilege to help families on their way toward wherever they may be going. I come to the clinic every morning and put on the "Doc" hat, but I try to keep the "Dad" hat nearby at all times. I make sure to put it on frequently, so that I can be sure not to miss anything important. It is my prayer that the folks with whom I cross paths can tell that I wear both, and that's what makes me good at what I do. "

Love this office!!!! We got permanent custody of my 5 year old grandson, in 2019. His name was given to me. He is wonderful, patient, funny...all positive nouns I can think of. I have a VERY ACTIVE grandson!! He answers all my questions, taken excellent care of my grandson, and has helped tremendously with his issues in school. I can contact the staff and they take care of all our needs. Love it!!!
