Went to a meet and greet. Waited over an hour and ended up walking out. Also waited 26
Minutes on hold just to schedule an appointment. Not good impression

Dr. Slay knew that our insurance was pending from the beginning. We went to the doctor EVERY week of my child's life for the first month and it was not necessary. He kept making excuses for why we needed to come back every week and as new parents we didn't know any better. My child has acid reflux and saw him on a Thursday and the next day he called in a prescription for her and didn't even notify us. The only reason I knew about it was because Walgreens called me and said they would cancel it if we didn't come get it because it had been there for a week already. I'm pretty sure he is getting a kick back on the medication as well because it is $100 for 2 weeks and he told us that most insurance companies will not pay for it. He also charged us for 2 doctor visits on 1 day because in the 1 visit he did her 1mo checkup and then talked (again for the 5th time) about her acid reflux. He didn't even do her checkup, his practicing nurse did (who is a student).

Dr. Slay has been a great doctor for my daughter. I switched from Dr. Whorton b/c his nurse was so mean. Dr. Slay's nurse is so nice and returns phone calls same day! He takes his time to make sure my daughter is comfortable before starting his exams and that is a huge plus for me!
