great experience from the informational webinar to consultation, to surgery preparation and all of the appointments, and finally the surgery itself that went very well. Stayed overnight in the hospital and released the following morning. Doctor called me on Sunday evening to check how I was doing-that was very nice of him to do. Excited about new Me!

I signed up for the seminar 3 years ago then canceled. Was afraid Then finally a few months ago I did it. After hearing what DR Baranov had to say I then scheduled an office visit. From there everything went so fast and smooth. I had my surgery on Nov 9th and except for some gas for two days I feel great . I am so happy with my decision . This Dr is the very best. If you follow his plan you will do great. I am so glad I picked him for my surgery. I am looking forward to my new journey with the help of Dr Baranov and his wonderful staff of nurses and nutritionists. If your thinking of this surgery you have nothing to loose by taking the seminar.

Deciding to choose the path of any bariatric surgery is a big decision, and the process can be overwhelming, emotional and challenging. It is so important to do your research and educate yourself. Dr. Baranov came HIGHLY recommended by SEVERAL people and I started to realize there was a common theme to everything I had heard about him and the practice at Saratoga Hospital--professionalism, caring, experience. I think it's important to trust any provider you choose. It is a big decision and one you should feel as though people are working for and with you. After Dr. Baranov's informational seminar I felt so confident and empowered in the choices I wanted to make. I had every question answered, everything explained with honest and real information from someone who made everything make sense. Dr. Baranov may or may not have had the goal to improve, change and impact so many people's lives and heath but go to one support group meeting (yes, they are open to anyone interested, pre or post-op) and there will be a ballroom full of people who all have stories about how amazing this man is. His professionalism and his knowledge are just a few of many reasons why I am so glad I chose him for my surgery. There is a personal level of care you will receive from him that you just don't get from other providers. From the phone call post surgery to see how you are doing, to providing resources and following up personally that it had been taken care of. Had great experience with my gastric bypass operation. My diabetes resolved in just 2 days after the surgery! I regret that I did not do it earlier-totally my fault; was listening to people I shouldn't have.

I very recently had a gastric sleeve by Dr Baranov. He is a no nonsense type of doctor which I appreciate. He is straight forward on what you have to do to be successful. Having said that, he and is staff are very caring and make a great team. Dr Baranov called me personally at home (on a Sunday night!) post op to see how I was feeling and if I had any questions.Everyone has been terrific including Rhonda, Crystal, Sarah and Cindy. I highly recommend Dr Baranov and his wonderful team.

I was overweight for all my life. My friend had bariatric surgery with Dr. Baranov and her results were simply amazing. I attended his seminar and 2 mos later I had gastric bypass. The whole process was very easy; staff in his office and in the hospital is very good. I had no complications whatsoever. I would recommend Dr. Baranov to anybody considering bariatric surgery

My recent sleeve operation with Dr. Baranov in Saratoga Hospital was a breeze. I stayed overnight, and my pain was minimal- I was taking Tylenol and anti-gas pill. Nurses on bariatric floor were very nice and attentive. Dr. Baranov and his assistants checked on me several times. His office staff is very nice too, especially Michele and nurse Crystal.

Dr. Baranov is outstanfing! He is strict, but that is for your own good. Bariatric surgery has changed my life completely. I love his office staff as well.

I just recently had bypas surgery with Dr. Baranov . He is an incredible surgeon. He made me feel comfortable. I had never had surgery before. Dr. Baranov is very attentive to his patients. He doesn't sugar coat things or tell you what you want to hear. He goes over every step of the process with you. There is always a member of his staff on call help you with any questions or concerns. Dr. Baranov personally called me to check on my progress. Not many surgeons do that.

I had gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Baranov in March 2014. It went very well; absolutely no problems. His office staff and nurses in Saratoga Hospital are excellent.
