I went to dr Jenkins for almost ten years. yet to months ago they said I failed a ua. that is ridicules you would have to be pretty stupid. to take something knowing you have to take a urine test. what was weird was their was nobody in the lobby that day , and it was always standing room only.

I got referred to Dr. Harvey Jenkins on in July of 2012 for my chronic back pain due to multiple back surgeries that all took place on 2011. This doctor does not know what he is doing when it comes to pain management and EVERY STAFF MEMBER INCLUDING NURSES are VERY RUDE AND HOSTILE!!! I saw him 3 times since posting this and every time I felt like I was being treated like a drug addict needing a fix. My appointment often are scheduled for right when they open at 9am I would not get called back for 2hrs or more after appointment time and I would only be back there being seen by him for a whole 10 minutes or less he does not care at all and kept interrupting me when I tried to explain the pain meds were not working that had prescribed me last. I ended getting fed up and canceling my last appointment. Do NOT go to this doctor him and his staff will treat you like crap!!! Their are better Pain Management Doctors out there that do care.

The office managers have little regard to none for care of patient. The office mng. will fire people without Dr. awareness and has left me with no meds. the house mngss. had treated their patients like criminals.the meds are dangerous to discontinue without guidance. Ive requested my records and have been denied this is truley misconduct for patient care.

Very rude DR & PA. Must have faulty UAs; they said I failed & I haven't smoked in 4 yrs. Asked for a 2nd test & was refused & given a scrip anyway. I brought my old meds & when checking out, the PA demanded my pills. I refused to hand them over which is illegal and instead handed them to the sheriff that was working there. This infuriated them and I was told to leave very rudely. They took back the scrip and the sheriff gave me my old meds back. The sheriff agreed they should be dropped at the PD but it didn't matter. This DR has been sanctioned twice for drug offenses and apparently wants to continue. I have never had a doc ask for my pills and have had some refuse to take them because it is illegal. Something is very wrong here especially if a uniformed officer is required to work the front desk. If you want a legit doctor, keep looking. It took 3 days to even get someone to answer the phone for an appointment. No wt or bp check. People in chronic pain should be treated more humane.

He is not interested in helping in the least. I went in for my first and last appointment. I made the phone calls for his office to get the prior authorization through from my family doctor. I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours without a word from anyone who worked there except to ask me to do their job. I never saw the doctor until 4 hours past my appointment time. I saw him 15 mins then? He wrote me a script for some perks an sent me on my way but i later called to cancel appointment because i couldnt make it an i hadnt taken but one pain pill since because i couldnt get my script filled. Well needless to say i got a letter for a missed appointment that I called and canceled. I dont know what that offices deal was but they have caused me more stress than any doctors office aught to cause anyone?

Find a different doctor this guy doesn't care in the least about your health. He gets you on drugs and then just drops you if you make a mistake. With these drugs you should be weaned off them slowly. I would like to see this doctor audited by the FDA and by Medicaid.

he charges over 500 dollars for urine test which has to be done at every visit. He perscriped pain medication and then didn't explian the dependence you ould get when he gets tired of treating you he says we are waiting on a test gives you only a two week supply and doesn't even explain you are going to have to detox off medication since it is not going to be providied anymore
