My family , my friends , Dr. Hirshorn and Pat-PA as well as my Saint Anthony?s Team from the bottom of my heart I can?t thank you enough for the outpouring of love ,concern and prayers . The positive energy I felt laying there in wait was enormous and the encouragement overwhelming and that said my surgery outcome was spot on . The PT said I?m supergirl lol ....sooo ...your out of here . Highly recommend this surgeon. Caring, personable, taking time to answer questions, highly skilled. He performed my hip replacement surgery. Top surgery staff as well ... My quality of life is back . I only wish that I had done it sooner !

I have never in my 63 years have meet a more arrogant uncaring doctor in my life . I will never go back to him. I think he just didn’t know what was wrong with me and could’ve cared less! His behavior is that of a doctor who could care less for his patients!!

I told Dr. Hirshorn. that my body does not respond normally - and gave examples. Any knee replacement has to be solid. He did not listen to me and had to redo my knee. Eye candy aside, I would never recommend him to anyone. He has cost me thousands of dollars!!!!

Completed 2 total hip replacements with Dr. Hirshorn within a 3 month period. Excellent experience, surgery and care. Could not have been in better hands and care. Very caring and skilled doctor/surgeon. The whole organization gets my 5 stars.

Dr Hirshorn did 3 of my surgery's I have full range of motion and can sit with my legs crossed like I did when I was a child. Great bed side manor and very caring Doctor. Love my Doctor

Thanks for giving me a chance to get my life back. I'm not sure how much longer I could have dealt with the pain. Many times I had to talk myself out of crazy thought and then I refused to go back. I had a total right shoulder replaced, left knee replaced, which I told the doctor my pain was worse and I then fell and broke my elbow on my right arm. So having my arm destroyed and told I needed to be able to put food in my mouth and he was out the door. If I had not found Dr Hirshorn, I could not have warned others not to go to Dr Thomas Mixa. Thanks again and I will let everyone I know to go to the BEST! Shirley B

Dr hirshorn has done what nobody in Florida wanted to try , I have had 3 failed surgeries on my right knee, I have been told by other orthopaedic "experts". That I should get an amputation


I would not consider an amputation and luckily I visited dr hirshorn in St. Petersburg!

He was very honest with me and did not sugar coat my situation.

After long discussions (his staff is great too!), we decided to do a complex knee revision surgery, 6 months later I don't even think about my knee, I play golf and work 12 hour days without pain for the first time in 20 years!!!

Wow!
