Very thorough and informative. We went to him for a consult. He is pleasant, very detailed and has a great personality. We were not rushed and he took the time to answer all of our questions. Office waiting area was very nice and relaxing.

I went to see Dr. Tarashansky as a fellow physician to consult with him about facial trauma I suffered and a major surgical procedure to guide me in my decision making. I should note that I chose him because we were in the same medical school class and as someone who is very OCD and meticulous myself, he was the "go-to" person that I recall who would be able to clarify even things I didnt understand so well. I went to him because I totally trusted his opinion and decision making skills based on how he was in medical school, and seeing him 15 years later I was so glad that I reconnected because the result even exceeded my high expectations. I have heard from other good ENT's in the field that he has a reputation as being very meticulous and thorough in his care and judgment, and I found that to be completely the case in my visit with him. He explained to me the risks and advantages of the different operative approaches and counseled me as to what might be better, as well as was not afraid to ask for his own colleague's opinion and ultimately refer me to whom he considered the expert on that type of facial trauma. This is why I have so much trust in him - because he is the type of doctor that as a layperson I would want managing my care, and that I even strive to be like in my own work. I also love that while his knowledge, judgment, expertise, and compassion are so high, his ego is not (I'm wary of those types of doctors myself) and that's especially important to me as a patient. Rather than being very paternalistic in his approach, he works collaboratively to ensure the best outcome, and is not afraid to refer to someone else if necessary = meaning that he is honest, another great quality. I wanted to write this because its important to me that patients have great medical care, and he is one of the doctors that I would trust most with my own medical care and decision making. amazing Doctor! He doesnt always run on time but its because he takes his time with you and wont rush you. He is gentle cleaning the wax out of my ears. Other doctors had hurt me doing this. He is very thorough. He is so caring and has a great personality which is such a added bonus since its so unexpected for most docoters. I absolutely would refers him to family friends and stranger just because he is such an amazing DOCTER!!!!!
