His staff was very professional. First starting with the receptionist Elvira Mejia, she is and was always pleasant at every visit. Patrick Evans, PA-C, was unbelievable, answered all my questions and concerns to the best of his knowledge. No complaints at all.

Dr Ackland and his staff are very professional and give a clear, concise, thorough understanding of all your options before doing surgery. In my opinion he is the best orthopedic surgeon this side of the Mississippi River you will ever find. Patrick Evans his assistant is spot on with all information you will need to make a decision about what's best for you. Every staff member makes sure you are comfortable with your treatment and are knowledgeable about any questions you may have.

Dr. Ackland and Patrick Evans, PA both agreed with the MRI report which showed multiple tears in my right shoulder. Other doctors I had seen seen stated that repairing them in a man my age (60) was not ideal. Dr. Ackland and his team repaired the torn rotator cuff and labrum and were great! I am looking forward to starting PT. Thank you Dr. Ackland and your team. More doctors could learn from him and Patrick Evans, PA compassion

After seeing another surgeon who told me there was nothing wrong with my shoulder, Dr. Ackland and his staff, Patrick Evans, PA immediately determined that I had a torn rotator cuff, verified by an MRI. I had the surgery and am presently in PT which is going fine without issues. I would highly recommend him and his staff for friendly and professional attention, very happy with the entire process

I traveled 220 miles to see the doctor. During my visit with Dr. Ackland he listened to my concerns. He explained clearly what my options were. he carries himself very professionally and is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his services... he had performed surgery on my right shoulder no problems after that...
