I was looking for help for my husband for such a long time, and we had seen two previous neurologists who couldn't diagnoses him. Dr. Buchanan worked us in for an appointment on short notice and he was just so understanding and caring, not to mention on top of his profession. He discovered what was wrong with my husband, which I won't go into here, and although he wasnt able to cure him do to his condition, he treated him and eased his symptoms to where we are almost symptom free. I don't know where my husband would be without Dr. Buchanan's care and I can't thank him enough.

I could not have had a better experience with Dr. Buchanan at what was initially a very scary time for me. He helped explain my condition in such a soothing and positive matter, and the treatment he then provided was top notch and i am now symptom free. His office staff were personable and caring, and I would recommend Dr. Buchanan to anyone seeking a neurologist. I feel like he is extremely knowledgeable in his field and that he cares about his patients like family.

I wrote a previous review on this doctor a week ago about how awful the receptionists at their clinic are and how I was unable to even see the doctor I had waited a month to see due to being given misinformation. The receptionist "Kelly" just called me and she was extremely rude to me again. She didn't try to fix what happened or even apologize for what I had gone through or my ongoing pain because of them refusing me to let me see the doctor. Instead, after trying to bully me to remove my review, she told me I needed to see a different neurologist. When I told her I had already found a new one she told me it was "perfect" because the doctor wouldn't want to see me anyway. This is ridiculous. No one should be called at their own home because of an honest review to try to help others from going through the same treatment and be demeaned and bullied. I hope the doctor finds out what kind of receptionists he has and how much business he is losing because of their unprofessional behavior.

Dr. Buchanan is a great neurologist. As a patient that struggles with epilepsy it is vital that I find a doctor that is knowledgable about my illness, but is also personable enough to care about my individual needs. Dr. Buchanan embodies both of these characteristics and I recommend him to anyone seeking a professional, caring, and knowledgable Neurologist.
