Likes to recommend Epidural, when you only have Arthritis; I am furious I was allegedly given one by Dr. Arash Lavian, but I experienced no relief. His nurse also sent me to the wrong place to get a MRI. I was charged $600. I have Medicare which covered my MRI. I filed a complaint with Medicare.

Dr. Lavian is a nice man and seems to be a good doctor. But his staff is the worst at patiant communications of any I've ever encountered. They do NOT return phone calls, they do NOT answer emails, they do NOT respond to ANYTHING except bookings for new visits, which, of course, means money for the office. They didn't even respond when we called to cancel our surgery because they hadn't bothered to answer our insurance questions. We left voice mail to cancel on a Tuesday and on the following Monday got the pre-op instructions. I had to go to the office PERSONALLY to get a signed notice acknowledging that we had canceled so we wouldn't be billed, and I told the office manager then that we were getting a new doctor because of the total lack of care for the patient's concerns. And just this morning a friend told me that she can't get an answer out of the staff, either, so I gave her the name of the doctor we went to, whose staff actually cares about patient concerns.
