My daughter is a little reserved and takes a while to warm up to people, but she really likes Dr. Shah and always feels comfortable during her visits. She is such a great doctor and has been extremely helpful to me, especially at the beginning when I was still learning about Type 1. Dealing with Type 1 has not been easy for my daughter or me, so we are grateful that Dr. Shah and her staff are always caring and professional.

Dr. Shah was great with my infant son (who admittedly is not fond of doctors visits) and took her time to make sure we understood treatment options and to answer ALL of our questions (we had a lot). She followed up with us a week later just to make sure we didn't have additional questions. Dr. Shah clearly cares about her patients, and we highly recommend her.

Dr. Shah is a great, patient oriented physician. She always has time to talk to you personally on the phone or answer your emails herself. My daughter who is five and Type 1 loves her! I would highly recommend Dr. Shah to anyone that has a child with Type 1.

Dr. Shah is attentive and knowledgable. She is involved in the Type 1 community in Tampa, and current with issues on a national and international level. She individualizes patient care, and spends as much times as needed to answer questions and develop a plan for that child.
