A man told me once that if a Psychiatrist is always accepting new patients that means they don’t have old ones; I think that statement is a fair assessment of Godwin; As I’ve read others say correctly-she doesn’t listen to you, seems distracted, passive aggressive remarks, got pretty aggravated with me when I repeatedly told her the medicine she wanted to prescribe me I didn’t want as I had tried it previously and had bad side effects: she kept saying it was the “best on the market” which it may be for some folks but wasn’t for me: between that and her insistence of calling her Doctor which she said later was a joke this entire experience was bad; happy I was able to get an appt with and now see dr Jabbour nearby; night and day diff

The worst Psychiatrist I have ever been to. I missed several appointments with her, due to her being over an our late for our appt. When I called the office they said there was nothing they could do because she was on call at the hospital. When I wanted to reschedule they said it would be another 3 months to see her. This happened more than once. This Doctor does Not care about the well being of her clients. Try someone in Raleigh before seeing her or Dr. McGill (also in Goldsboro) -- I honestly don't know which of them is worse!

Unwelcoming atmosphere. Dr. Godwin was rude and acted rushed at all sessions. If you are feeling bad about yourself, I recommend finding someone else to talk to. She only makes you feel worse by acting disinterested, making you repeat things because she was on her computer, and acting as though sitting with you for ten minutes is a chore. Like others said, very disappointed.
