Dr. Schmidt is the worst doctor in general I have seen and he couldn't be more poorly equipped to be a pain doctor. He has zero empathy, you walk in the door judged as someone looking for narcotics and his goal is to get you off. He is full of himself, hateful, insulting and I don't see him lasting long in this profession. He gives you the name of a book, tells you to exercise and cuts your medication while putting you on high doses of neurontin. This is a road I have tried only to gain 30 plus pounds each time which is horrible for my pain. I have never reviewed any service, however if I can prevent one person from wasting their time, money and being insulted it is worth it. He is young, probably the worst pain he has been in has been at the dentist. He just doesn't get that chronic pain is miserable and it is a path that is life changing, real and we didn't choose. Stay away!

Dr Schmidt is arrogant, abusive, poor listener and judgemental. He had me in tears every visit. He lacks empathy and has grandiose perception of himself. I have never been to such an unpleasant, unprofessional doctor ever. No wonder he is only at a practice a yr or less in the 3 years he has been practicing.
