I have seen Dr Monreal a couple of times for radio frequency abliation. She looks over all your paper work as to what you have done already and if you are a candidate for the procedure or if she can help you at all so she doesnt waste your time or hers. I have found her to be her to be very thorough and professional. She knows what she is doing. As for her staff I have never had them be rude to short with me whether it is on the phone or in person. Yes I did have to wait 6 weeks or so for an appointment but it was well worth it. She is great and has helped me tremendously. I will only go to her. Have had other pain specialist and they havent helped. So maybe this person was having a bad day.

I was on crutches and a walker for 16-months. Both prior and during that time, I endured "23-lower-lumbar-procedures and "1-failed Radio Frequency Ablation Procedure, all by a doctor in Washington." I kept searching, hiring and firing Neurosurgeons. I don't give up very easily, so I kept on searching. After having 12-other successful surgeries performed by 2-well seasoned surgeons for different injuries, for the life of me, I could not understand WHY I could not find a doctor to fix me. I couldn't count how many Neurosurgeons I saw for my lower-back injury. But I did meet one local Neurosurgeon who set me up with Dr. Rebeca Monreal. At first there was talk about implanting a spinal nerve stimulator to block the pain. But after Dr. Monreal's evaluation, she decided it was too dangerous for my situation. She told me that she wanted to perform a double spinal lumbar Radio Frequency Ablation. (Both sides of my spine) I had been through so much already, I couldn't walk without help, so what did I have to lose..?? Nothing..!! The procedure was done 2-months ago. I have been walking without any assistance from crutches or a walker. My neighbors gave me a new nick-name, Lazarus..!! Thank you Dr. Rebeca Monreal..!! Keep in mind I struck out over 23-times with another doctor in Washington. But Dr. Rebeca Monreal in Salem, Oregon hit a homerun on my procedure the first time.!! I can walk again.!! R. Norton

Her staff was rude and not helpful. I waited six to seven weeks to get an appointment and by that time already had a referral to another doctor who got my appointment scheduled in a week. Her office stated they had to verify my insurance and would not even consider scheduling my appointment. This is not what I would consider customer service. I did not actually see or speak with Dr. Monreal because I did not get an appointment.

She listened to me and gave me a thorough exam. She relieved my pain and because of her I have returned to all my favorite activities. I would recommend her to all my friend and family.
