I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Stein and his staff. From the consultation to the follow up appointments, I truly felt like everyone in the office cared and that I wasn't ""just another patient"". Everyone is so personable and my surgery day was an absolute breeze. Dr. Stein was very straight and to the point from the initial consultation and was very honest with me about what could be done for my nose. My results are beautiful, I feel 10x more confident, and I feel like I finally have the nose I was supposed to be born with. Thank you Dr. Stein!

Dr. Stein's practice was one of the few practices I looked into to get a rhinoplasty done. My nose was large, droopy and had a large hump. I talked to Dr. Stein about what parts of my nose made me feel self-conscious and he really supported my decisions with the changes and reflected what he thought would look best. What I enjoyed most about my time here was how quick and efficient the appointments were; how well my surgery and its post-op went; the staff are incredible and his team is very supportive. I absolutely love my new nose and Dr. Stein maintained a natural aesthetic to it which I absolutely love and I'm grateful for that.

From the beginning I knew the staff members enjoyed what they were doing and they were very helpful to answer any questions I had prior to making my decision. After my first phone call with the very nice front desk staff and video chat with the doctor, I felt comfortable in making my decision of going to Dr. Stein for my rhinoplasty.

I would recommend asking any questions that you may have as this helps ease anxiety. Dr. Stein was very knowledgeable and knew right away he could assist in decreasing the size of my nose. I would have liked a little more input about what to expect the day of surgery and how you may feel in the first few weeks after surgery, but any time I wasn't certain Dr. Stein and his staff were available to answer my questions even after hours.

Six weeks out now, I'm very happy with the results and I look forward to the swelling to go down to see my nicely refined nose! My best advice is to breathe deeply and be patient while your nose heals!

I'm in my mid 60s and been considering a facelift for a few years. But the stress of the pandemic really aged me this past year. I consulted with four doctors and Dr. Stein was my choice by a large margin. We sat at my consult and he answered my long list of questions. Besides his vast experience with facial surgery (3,000 facelifts and double board certified), I liked three things immediately: first, he suggested but never pushed anything other than the facelift/neck lift that I wanted; second, he uses local not general anesthesia; and third, his price was very fair and not inflated. He was also always extremely honest about what the results would be. I also opted to have fat removed from my lower eyelids. The other doctors all suggested a lower bleph but I liked Stein's approach of trying fat removal before doing any cutting. Everything went very smoothly the day of surgery and the follow-up the next morning. Although I cringed when I saw how swollen I was, the staff all assured me the first few days were the worst and they were right. I just had my 6 week check up and am ecstatic with the results. Friends all look at me and either mention how great I look or have a quizzical ""what looks different?"" I now feel as young as I look. To the few friends who know I had the surgery, I have highly recommended Dr. Stein. I would also say his office is very quick to respond to questions or issues. I used the reviews on Real Self to help find Dr. Stein and am very glad I did. I plan to update this review again in about 4 months.

Stop your research here! You have found the best option. I am from NYC where we have many thousands of plastic surgeons and I went with Dr. Stein in Raleigh! I was particularly afraid to get a facelift (even though I wanted one badly) so the search for the best doctor was long and my demands were high.

My lower facelift results from Dr. Stein are excellent! More than what I had imagined. No more creepy neck, no more jowls, no complications, no unsightly scars. My family is amazed, they say I look 20 years younger. I now smile more often with a lot more confidence. I don’t look like the grandma in the office any longer! In addition, people don't know why. They think it's a new hair cut, weight loss or lots of sleep. I am a better me!

I researched Raleigh because my sister lives in the area. After consultations in NY and Raleigh over several years, I choose Dr. Stein. My incessant questions to his staff on results and recovery were greeted with patience, courtesy, and reassurance. Looking back, I put his staff through a ridiculous amount questions.

Dr. Stein is highly professional and focuses on the procedures you need, what to expect, and recovery. In retrospect, I should have been more open to the full face lift suggested by Dr. Stein. Now, I have scheduled the under eye, brow, and midface lift surgery (upper facelift). I still look a thousand times better after my lower facelift. I am sure Dr. Stein knew it would look good (and even better with the full facelift).

I look forward to this procedure without the anxiety! I know I will come out looking natural and an even better and younger me! My sister in Raleigh is showing her friends the before and after. They will be going to Dr. Stein because of their amazement of my results. Good luck. Give them a call. You will love the staff and the results from Dr. Stein.

It is difficult to put into words how happy I am with the results. I have wanted to have a rhinoplasty for about 45 years and finally said ok... let's do this. Ironically COVID was the "tipping point" for me. I realized I enjoyed wearing a mask because people could see my pretty eyes and not my nose which I have disliked all my life. I am 100%+ satisfied with the results of my rhinoplasty and repair of my deviated septum. 6 weeks later I feel great and think I look great. I experienced minimal pain/discomfort the first few days and bruising was much less than I expected. I did not need to have my nose broken which did eliminate more bruising. Dr. Stein is a fantastic surgeon. He explains the procedure thoroughly and was very clear on helping me set realistic expectations. I have thick skin which added a complication and he was very clear on what he could/could not do. I felt so confident in him and skills that the day of the surgery I did not feel a bit nervous. I still have some minor swelling but am totally pleased with it today. I can't imagine being more pleased in six weeks but he has assured me I will be. I encourage anyone who is thinking of a rhinoplasty to set up an appointment with Dr. Stein. My personal words of advice are: be realistic, do the surgery for yourself only (not to please anyone else) and do not pay attention to those that say "your nose is just fine" or "but you won't look like you anymore". I have zero regrets.

I am 6 weeks out from my rhinoplasty procedure with Dr. Stein and I could not be happier with the process or the results! From the time I called about a consult, Pam and the entire office staff were so friendly, helpful and they worked me in quickly. I was so nervous about the procedure and being put under anesthesia, but the team of nurses were extremely kind and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I had little to no pain (only took pain meds the first day and continued with tylenol). Recovery was only difficult for the first 3-4 days, mostly due to not being able to breathe through my nose and the exhaustion that comes along with surgery. That first week was TOTALLY worth the results! It was important to me to still look like myself after rhinoplasty and not have a nose that would not fit my face. Dr. Stein's work is so natural looking and he factors in many things to make sure your nose will still suit you. My results are better than I ever expected. I still look like myself, just a better version! Dr. Stein is an artist :) Take this as your sign to go through with the procedure if you are thinking about it - I wish I had done it years ago. My experience with Dr Stein was very good! I broke my nose in a wrestling injury which had left it looking very crooked, and on top of that I have a history of recurring sinus infections due to a deviated septum. Dr Stein straightened out my nose and fixed the deviation which has everything looking and feeling much better.
