Dr Swamy unfortunately passed away 5 years ago. I am not sure why people rate doctors after so long and not even realize they passed away. She was a kind person.

Dr. Swamy is by far the best OB GYN out there. I have a medical background and a doctoral degree.

I had a medical emergency about 10 years ago that required an ob/gyn. I was put under Dr. Swamy's care by LGH & had a surgery. Since then I've been her patient by accommodation. While she performs her procedures and medical tests correctly (as far as I know I never had a mixed up test & she never ran unnecessary tests on me), her bedside manners are deplorable. I recently went for a routine exam and asked her many questions on prenatal & pregnancy care. I was extremely upset when she said "you worry too much!" when asking her some very real questions. I went home in tears. Because I've been her patient so long I thought I will say great things about her, but I agree with the other reviews below on the way she is. She is NOT a kind and gentle ob/gyn. She always talks about her vitamin gummies and being on weight watchers on every visit. I'm sick of it. I am currently looking for another doctor in my area who I can talk to because I can't deal with any pregnancy concerns AND this!

I was very unhappy with Dr. Swamy for the majority of my pregnancy and then at 30 weeks after an appointment where I left very upset, I finally changed OBs. She is at least 2 year behind in her information (didn't know the latest CDC recommendation of receiving tDap vaccine during 3rd trimester rather than at hospital). Provided very little information, ignored/blew off my questions and got annoyed when I questioned her about anything. As a first time mother I didn't know what to expect and really depended on my OB so as a result I was left feeling uneasy and uninformed for the majority of my pregnancy. Overall I found her dismissive and uninformed on the most current guidelines and would highly recommend that any first time mothers NOT go to her.

Dr. Swamy is very rude and unprofessional. She didn't take the time to read my chart, messed up a blood test, and was unhelpful and judgemental when I asked her questions about my pregnancy. However her staff is very helpful, and corteous.
