This lady is going to kill someone!!! My daughter went to her for 6 months! She had 4 ear infections in six months and every time dr Dawis said she did not! She would send us home only for us to go to med express two days later to be told my daughter had severe bilateral ear infections! Four times this happened! One time her eyes were swollen shut the ear infection was so bad. It then lead to an eye and upper respiratory infection. Dr dawis wouldn’t even acknowledge her own patient! Tells you never to go to med express! but you WILL go to medexpress after each visit with dr Dawis because she is not treating her patients!

I never want to knock someone down from their work but I want other parents to know your child is in danger going here!

She repeats herself and forgets who my kid and I are. Her doctors office is dirty and i always find stuff on the floor that was there the last time I was there. She always tells me to call her before going to the hospital so I do. She acts rude like im bothering her. She ignored the fact I kept telling her my son is sick, you can hear it in his lungs. She kept saying uts allergies, he acts healthy. She checked hid lungs and went ohhhh uh ohhh..you were right. He has bronchitis! Nice!

I have had one appointment with her so far for my 4yo and 6 week old. Based off that visit I really like her and am considering switching my other two to her also. I love that she tries to avoid meds when there are non medicinal options to try first. I love the amount of experience she has. I also like that when my 4yo daughter wouldn't sit still she had no qualms about telling her she needed to sit down. I completely get why her patience is quick lived, shes from a different generation, where kids listened to the elders. She had to give my 4yo two shots, and being 4, she did not handle it well. By the time we left she hugged Dr. Dawis and told her she loves her. I really love her want to continue her practice, and the dedication she has to her patients. She's not afraid to tell you how it is and what she's thinking which is refreshing. I'm close with my grandparents, who are in their kid 80's so I find her easy to deal with when she makes comments that some people would probably be upset by. I've gotten good at knowing when to ignore the elderlys comments. All in all, so far I think she's fantastic.

i don't understand all the bad reviews? i absolutely love her. my midwife referred me to her, she helps me out in doing as much all natural as i can with my daughter who is now 8 months. She is a very sweet old lady. i guess i can see where some of these reviewers are coming from but i find her more quirky the rude or mean. i will never switch my daughter to someone else.and after hours when i call she always answers even at midnight when my girl was running a fever, Dr. Dawis picked up. She just really makes me feel like she has my daughters best interests at hand, and does not talk down to me or make me feel like a bad mom by trying natural cures to things before just giving meds.

Her staff is pretty nice, but I do not like her. She would not take my daughter on as a new patient because she was over a year old. She told me to get rid of my cats because they were too dangerous for the kids. i tried to explain my cats have been productive of the kids since day 1 she would not hear it. Also told another parent in the waiting room once why my son was there (HUGE HIPPA violation). Do not send your kids there. I found a family doctor that I love, and I'm sending the kids there now.

Very unhappy with this Doctor. I have never in all my years of taking my kids to the doctor have I been talked to like this. She questions everything you do. Make an appt. and she will question you about the year before. She told me she is available 24/7 well if my kid is dying I'm suppose to call her first. Very unprofessional in every way. Argumenitive, she makes you feel total stupid and I am in the medical field. My son has never seen her and just from the run ins my daughter and I have had with her he does not want to go there. I have always had good Doctors she is awful!!!!!! The very first visit she told me to find a different Doc for my daughter because she is a teenager. I was like really she is 15. Trying very hard to find a new Doctor.

Dr Dawis yelled at my son his first visit, she tried to send him to the corner in her office,he has behavior issues that he is seeking help for and she told him he had no respect for her or his mother. I missed an appt. by accident, and she raised her voice on the phone, accused me of argueing with her when I apologized for my mistake. The Staff is heartless and rude. What a great environment to take your children into!!!
