I paid Jonni L. Gonso several thousand dollars for help in the into my son’s custody case. This is the most incompetent “professional” I have ever experienced. This woman should not be allowed to practice.
I paid for my wife to have the man she was having an affair with involved with my son’s custody case.

Remember her as an awful 1 sided person. She destroyed everything in our family and took side of the abuser. She has never been recommended by me or other friends.

Shared personal experiences to connected during one of my darkest parts of my life. Sided with me. Then met privately with my ex for almost 2 years. She wrote a horrible description to the court about me and favored my ex. She is not someone with ethics and like most therapist take money and are just as messed up as their clients.

I remember seeing her when I was younger and my parents were going through their divorce. I think I felt like she really had my interests in mind, but I truly don't feel like she ever helped me process the hurt and guilt I felt throughout that experience. All I remember is voicing how i felt and her telling stories about her daughters who were clearly more high-achieving than I was and feeling inadequate in comparison. That and hot chocolate.

If you are dealing with a high conflict coparent I would NOT recommend using Dr. Jonni Gonso. She has made references to actions taken by one party which are actually attributed to the other, has failed to follow her duties as defined in the Order appointing her as PC and has exhibited inflammatory behavior which has intensified the strain between coparents as opposed to reducing tension. We had to engage another PC to help improve our relationship.

Terrible experience. Felt like from meeting one, she was attempting to break down the custody agreement is fought so hard to secure. She definitely had some deep-rooted issues with me, perhaps from her own failed marriage.

Gonso doesn't help parents co-parent, she simply takes the side of convenience and plays to that parent's wishes. Very 1-sided and biased, to the point of ridiculousness. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. She causes damage, down to the point of it affecting the children. Avoid her at all costs.
